Greetings warlight community!

In name of GG, I to present to you: GGr - GG's new recruitment clan.
https://www.warlight.net/Clans/?ID=283

From this day on, GGr will welcome friendly players that are eager to improve there gameplay and have the potential to become a true "Good Gamer".

GGr members will receive the following benefits:
- Practice with GG members;
- Shared GG strategy chat to discuss games, share tricks, tournaments and events;
- Shared GG clan chat to talk about anything unrelated to warlight;
- Organised practice events;
- Clan league participation for the GGr team;
- Being able to join GG as soon you have proven yourself to stand equal among the GG members.

The inducement for GGr's creation is GG's urge for growth, while keeping our everlasting strict recruitment policy unscathed.

If this clan has aroused your interest, then please send an application to SGT.Recruiter (https://www.warlight.net/Profile?p=9075604424). We will send an invite if you are deemed worthy.

We look forward to hearing from those interested in joining GGr! \(^‿^)

Interesting to see more elite clans move further away from poaching and more towards getting players with potential into their system as quickly as possible.

What makes you different from Apprentice or 101st?

Still waiting for Apex - Junior

I think the biggest different we try to make is that GGr you will be very close to the main clan. There is little difference between GGr members and GG members, so you will really feel the atmosphere of the main clan.

Orange, respectfully that's a similarity not a difference.

I can't speak for Apprentice, but 101st (post Outlaws) is very close to Lynx. A number of Lynx players actively coach 101st and are part of the 101st chat (that's myself, ZBD, Semice, and Kaerox), we have a 101st/Lynx internal league, as well as 101st/Lynx internal tournaments.

Good luck with your efforts! Running a training clan is hard work! I know that Lynx thinks fondly of GG, and historically the two clans have been close. Some friendly competition between active training clans would be amazing - so maybe we can look forward to future clan battles between GGr and 101st?

Also, if it helps I would be up for putting my alt in GGr. Most of my training efforts go to 101st and that won't change, but I enjoy discussing strategy and I'm happy to share both my experiences with training as well as some training resources.

Thanks Quicksilver, Hearing your experience with coaching players will be very helpful to us. I will personally recommend my clan to put you in our GG strategy chat from where we organize training and discussing strategies. (We don't accept alts in GGr however.)
GG also thinks fondly of Lynx and has always been seeing us as brothers. A future GGr vs 101st event sounds really fun, we should definitely do that.

Looks like I need to be more specific to point out differences for GGr, and even then I'm not sure if I'm correct, so please correct me again if
I'm wrong:
The main different is that
GGr is not an academy but a recruit clan: we used to play hunderds of games for several months with recruits, and with some members doing the recruiting process a second time later on when they were not on our desired skill level yet. From now on, we will give our recruits a separate tag and lower our requirements for recruits as well as sharing our clan chat with them. \(^‿^)

Cool.

Ok, I think I get it - everyone who joins GGr is considered to be a future recruit of GG. They just need to level up a bit first. Whereas 101st is a training academy, with some members who end up joining Lynx, but there's no starting expectation that everyone who joins 101st will end up joining Lynx. But in GGr there is.

So 101st feels like a separate clan from Lynx, whereas GGr will feel like an extension of GG.

Is that right?

Yes that's correct. It might change in the future but for now that's our idea for GGr.

I don't expect this model to work successfully, The recruiting market is very low. The players that Elite clans want are very hard to find for the mindset and attitude to develop into a good player into the future. For any model to work in the way recruiting works is to have originality to make it stand out. At the moment to the fresh newbie this is another 101st/Lynx system, This is the impression you have to deal with.

The only way this model can work is to mass recruit players, Create a community of players that will attract players. If you create a community of players with the vision to improve, Others will follow.

This will be a long slow-process which requires active leadership to form an environment of this kind to enable the clan growth.

Even with this, The chances of success are slim and requires a very dedicated leader to kickstart the project.

However, I wish you the best of luck with the project. I'm willing to put an alt in GG and offer some tips/advice to the project because It's harder than it looks kick-starting this project. I know GG have some really cool guys but skill and reputation doesn't mean a recruiting clan automatically becomes good.
