I've been playing a lot of Warlight this weekend, and one of my favourite things to do in it is to tune the settings of a game to make it as fun as possible for players like me. There were two things that I noticed that I would love to see in the game, both of them cards, so I figured I'd make a forum post about it, somewhere where other players could also contribute their ideas. (I'm sure it's not the first, but it's one of them.)

(1) Reinforcement Cards that get progressively better with each turn and get exponentially better, and while they're in your hand. (I would love to play a game where you start off with 1 or 2 reinforcement cards in your hand that get better as the game progresses. Around Turn 10, you might find yourself in some conflicts with another player and you might want to use a card for the slight advantage of 10 troops. You also might want to save that card for around Turn 15 when it'd be worth 20 troops)

(2) A spy card that only counts the amount of armies a player is getting per turn. (I don't like spy cards much in my games, because I prefer not to have my enemies being able to see where my armies are set up and how far my stretch of territory goes on for. However, I love being able to see how many armies another player is getting per turn. That way, if I run into another player on the field right around a newly acquired territory at around Turn 10, I can play the card to see if I should go into fight or flight.)

Pretty sure you can already do that (not 100% sure as I've never tried the setting). Go under reinforcement card, click customize, and click progressive: based on number of turns passed

And for the second one, uservoice it. I'm sure it will be d̶i̶s̶r̶e̶g̶a̶r̶d̶e̶d̶ added to the road map

That sounds really neat. I would like to see that in a game.

You can make games in which reinforcements cards give more armies if you get them later, but the amount of armies they give will never change once you got them, if you get a card in turn 1 worth 10 armies, it will always be worth 10 armies for the rest of the game, whatever settings you choose.
