And people call the south wusses for leaving because of a bad election...

I would be happy for California to leave, the only good thing about it is tourism & GDP; meanwhile the bad... well... that can be summed up after ten minutes of looking up "san francisco"

Wouldn't really miss it though, considering that is 55 electoral votes not going to the democrats every year.

are Republicans really so enthusiastic about rigging US elections, even if it is at the expense of the US economy?

Well I am positive a lot of Democrat's would sooner let Texas bitch about Clinton winning, and Texit, then not.

Just split yourselves in four already. USA, CSA, California and the buffer zone in the rockies. And then fight to death. The world economy is bound to boom.

Calexit is one of the worst ideas that I have heard. There is no way California can defeat the feds militarily.

@GenPE Forced integration is indeed what I advocate for. Not allowing any ancestry-based group to opt out.

@Палач из Империй

The so called "Canadian NATO Protectorate" would be massively more militarily and economically powerful than Canada.

Not NATO. Wasn't thinking there.

Calexit isn't going to happen... but I'm all for Dems. moving to Canada.

The protests are absurd and ironically defeat the purpose of living in a democratic republic. Unfortunately, California brings a lot of money, and while I would rather not have that cesspool of a state connected to the mainland, much less a part of the country, it would be a bad idea to just let it run off.

The chances of California leaving the united states in the next four years are negligible, so I don't really see why talking about it matter all that much. I guess it's interesting to theorize about I guess.

Technically Trump wasn't democratically elected. He had fewer votes than Hillary.
