Hello!

Every week we vote on 5 maps, and the map with the most votes becomes the map of the week for the following week.

Go here to vote: https://www.WarLight.net/MapOfTheWeek/View?Week=97

You can use this thread to discuss the current vote. Tell us why you voted the way you did!

First reply!

I voted for the World Map by baconsizzle because;

1- It's the best real world map on there, and I only play on/vote for real world maps
2- I like the creator's name. It's kinda generic, but still cool.

Why is Cities of US&Canada getting any votes? It's a bad map with unrealistic bonuses, linear fighting, a misunderstanding of geography, and poor expansion routes. Is this just a case of US homerism?

I voted for World Map by Baconsizzle1738 because:
1) It is a real-life map;
2) It is a world map;
3) It is colorful;
4) Bonuses are quite properly distributed (although I am interested as to why would Brazil not be a major bonus, given its size).
First two (or three) might not be very objective criteria but I play almost only real-life maps, and love world maps most of all. As for colors, they just add some... color :D to a game.
