I think that this data shows that we should see an update within the next week; and a relatively big one.

In 101 days we got commanders

In 77 days we got a new AI

In just 45 days we got forum voting.

It's been 62 days since the last "small" update (83 days since we got forum voting), and that hopefully means we should see a lot of progress by Fizzer coming out soon.

I'm working on something big. Big updates take longer :)

To be honest, I am more afraid of the update, because with each update I can´t recall anything positive, except bug fixes maybe. Maybe my hopes have been too big, that maybe one day Warlight really would be a board-strategy game. Still curious, but more afraid of new unwelcomed features.

I´d be more pleased, if we could get 101 not-working functions fixed and enhancing the strategic side of a game.

Commanders/Autopilot were pretty good... but fórum voting, ouch.

Fizzer takes his time. However things such as forum voting should not take 45 days, unless it's something we do not know. I wonder how many lines of code it took to create each feature.

as far as i remember fizzer mentioned about major mobile apps overhaul in last AMA

that would be sad (for me), cause it means no big changes to game itself, but i'm aware this is quite important to many players

As far as I have heard for now: alleged mobile app, map-editor to be updated. It seems this thread is turning into guess the next update.

@Krzysztof I agree, would like to see game updates, but ones that develop it further not change the face of it. On other side, we don´t have data on how much and how often Warlight is being used on mobile - if that is close to Webpage visits, it is more than useful for Fizzer to put his time there, because by complains I understand it is quite underdeveloped.

Yes, I agree on those two. Autopilot is useful feature. Commanders change the game totally and that way seen, it is debatable. And that is where my personal opinion shifts. I would prefer if more effort would be put to older features that need change, enhancement and improvement rather than new features while game itself needs a fix. Uservoice is full of random junk, but as well minor improvement advice's from back to 2010 that still are undone.

Well, it's not the update itself that is really a problem. It is the fact that commanders since then have been forced upon the community. They are advertised to be this amazing tactical feature which they aren't. Although I do not use autopilot, I agree it is not a bad feature. Commanders in itself aren't either. The way Fizzer acted afterwards was laughable, though.

I do not doubt Fizzer wants more players and income. I also do not doubt he does his best to achieve those goals. However, I do sometimes doubt his methods to achieve them.

Lol, so it took Fizzer 62 days to announce, that it will take him 30 days to announce a project, which will take 60 days to be realised (or maybe just its lauch date announced, which would be ofc 45 days later).

jk Fizzer, but a poll about what current members want, sorry what retain current members on the website (and thus make you money with ads), between 1 big update, or all the little additions / fixes that are needed (https://www.warlight.net/Forum/216513-warlight-wishlist). And I can already bet on the result of the poll. If you dont like those ideas, fine, but please say it. If they take too long to develop fine, but please say something. So we can keep or stop hoping.

@ Benjamin, excellent thread and file, thanks. You could add 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 dates and main change so we can speculate on what and when could 4.0 bring to the table. Keep in mind, we can assume Fizzer doesnt really need to make a better living, so if I were him, I would spend more time on holidays than working. Maybe this is what is happening and who could blame him.
