You're right, maybe I shouldn't be wasting my time for amusement here. Unlike you, I've got much better things to do. :)

y'all are gonna die off sooner or later anyway, so I guess we can wait and see.

Falling back on the "All conservatives are old white men" stereotype I see. Well, I'm probably younger than you are. Also, I don't live in a smog filled, overcrowded, disease brooding center so we'll see who has the better life expectancy there.

every ability you pride yourselves in having, I can automate (a lot more of them I can do personally than you'd realize).

Then everyone would be unemployed, and you'd continue to blame us like the elitist piece of trash you are.

We had better policy on the table for all of America.

What Clinton proposed was the same policies that have been decimating the American middle class for decades. More "Free trade", more jobs sent overseas, and more wealth accumulating for the top. Would it have increased GDP? Maybe, but only the wealthy few would feel the benefits.

Hell, I'm pretty damn well-insulated from your problems. I'm living in the kind of America that can pretend your problems don't exist if we don't want to

That's right. You live in a bubble, a liberal echo-chamber. You think that your ideas are the only valid ones and that anyone who disagrees should be disregarded. You think you can sit in your city apartment (or whatever you live in) and ignore the rest of the world? That house of cards is gonna crash on you some day.

but we're the ones paying for that turkey you just put on the table.

You aren't paying for squat. I just spent Thanksgiving working a 9$ an hour job because I need to make money on the side while I attend college. I bet that bursts your little bubble of idiotic assumptions doesn't it? A Trump voter, who actually works, AND is going to college.

Same for MGSB, Paugers, and all the other kids on here who will live out tiny little lives that will have little to no effect on society.

Try again, mate. Contrary to this BS narrative you keep pushing, many of us out here have plans for something better. I'm already almost done with my first years of college, and plan to transfer to a bigger university after that. It's not easy, because college costs are through the roof, but it's almost the only way to get ahead in this "perfect" system you've crafted for us.

What have you been doing with yourself? Aside from plotting ways to make half of America miserable like a lonely little troll.

and they're right to be frightened.

Fear is powerful. If you continue to disregard the working class, continue disregarding rural America, continue disregarding anyone who contributes less precious GDP then you do, things will only get worse.

in that plight and a willingness to build solutions that would serve them at the expense of those of us who don't share their worries- solutions like job training

Job training! For the low, low price of 40K a year!

In fairness, there was someone who offered solutions this year. There was a man named Bernie Sanders. The Democrats rejected him in favor for the same elitist, wealth-driven campaign that America has been running on for decades.

I truly wonder what has to happen before you see through your ignorance and arrogance. Even in defeat, you continue to preach and lecture from your glass tower about how you're perfect in every way and that anyone who dares to think counter to you is an ignorant savage who should be purged.

Enjoy your safe space while it lasts.

But Alt-Right, not elitists? You have to be kidding me. In what world is racism not a form of elitism?

Syria. Donbas. X stop this nonsense, you honestly have gone off the deep end with supporting leftism.

nice strawman, goy.

I'm right of Respooblika Belaroos, and he does not uphold the wars.

Leftists don't want peace, they want to be in power.

them and everyone else. nice strawman, goy, didn't even make that claim, not also saying that what kind of economy upholding has nothing to do with what kind of foreign policy. Communists in Nepal are for a peaceful foreign policy.

Overregulating , causing the recession, and having a minimum wage, all things Knyte and Keynesianists

yes knyte told me personally that he tried hard to cause the recession and partied hard when it did. And it's not like it did anything that bad to an already country with very high standards of life.

Stop acting like leftists can do no wrong you ignorant jack@ss.

only if you call donald trump a f*ggot and worth 0.

If you weighted votes by economic contribution, Clinton would have won in a landslide.

it more or less is already like that.

What Clinton proposed was the same policies that have been decimating the American middle class for decades. More "Free trade", more jobs sent overseas, and more wealth accumulating for the top. Would it have increased GDP? Maybe, but only the wealthy few would feel the benefits.

don't be silly. Clinton specifically wanted to make it very easy to be jobless and to live well, and nothing's been "decimating" any economic class of America since maybe the 1930s.

more jobs sent overseas

sure hungry indonesian or philipino kid can't have a job that's meant for a fat American.

I bet that bursts your little bubble of idiotic assumptions doesn't it? A Trump voter, who actually works, AND is going to college.

there has to be one or two

It's not easy, because college costs are through the roof, but it's almost the only way to get ahead in this "perfect" system you've crafted for us.

why do you want to be ahead? even the bottom 1% of America is very good life.

There was a man named Bernie Sanders. The Democrats rejected him in favor for the same elitist, wealth-driven campaign that America has been running on for decades.

Wasn't he at one point most liked candidate? anyhow I think Sanders was best but still Clinton far more than any other Republican.

The alt right isn't 100% racist.

knyte and others of his stripe have nothing but disdain for those they deem as beneath them.

I bet it must be so easy to sit in your little hightower, spouting high and mighty nonsense, writing off all who think differently than you as illiterate peasants. But guess what? Your cities, your banks, your vaunted GDP, it's nothing without the rural areas you so despise. Sure, you could wipe us off the map and not see an immediate loss in capital, but you'd starve to death by the year's end.

I used to respect you, knyte. But it's clear all your talk about putting partisanship behind, seeing new viewpoints, and treating everyone with respect was just hypocrical talk. Look in the mirror sometime. YOU are the reason this country is so divided. YOU are the reason Trump got elected. YOU and those of like attitude, are the problem.

Speaking of disdain....

You think everyone in America is rich, don't you? Ok, the "fat rich Americans" don't have jobs. They can't feed their families, put them through university, and are going to have to live with other folk because they can't afford housing. No they are rich because they are American, that is fact because I am X.

Tsh, you really think that no one is struggling don't you, it's not like anyone here is a teen dependent on a working class individual who makes 25,000 a year (which is barely covering the basics and nothing else), it's not like anyone here has family that are dying and can't afford healthcare because of the interventionist system in the US, and it's not like anyone here barely ate for two months straight to save money. No, no one here is struggling like that.

Yes, wct. I have disdain for cold hearted elitists who revel in large swathes of the country suffering.

Exactly why it sucks that Clinton/the DNC cheated Bernie Sanders, who could have actually addressed these problems. So far, Trump has done one good thing: Shut down talk of the TPP. However, I have no trust that he won't re-brand it, call it Trump's Perfect Plan, and push a nearly identical version of it as his own baby.

Knyte's right about one thing: Trump won't fix things the way you think he will.

But Eklipse and the others are right, too: Neither would have Clinton.

Shoulda been Bernie. The only ones to blame for that fiasco are Clinton (and her campaign people) and her corrupt cronies in the DNC, like Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Donna Brazile, and a whole bunch of others.

You guys do realize that this 'election' was between the *two* worst-liked candidates ever, right? It was *bound* to end with a shit show and everyone disappointed and pissed off. There was literally no way it could have turned out well.

But you don't criticize the sadist by saying, "He's bad because of his disdain." You should criticize him because he's a sadist. Otherwise you're just being hypocritical. (And I'm not saying knyte is a sadist, I'm just following your hypothetical example.)

Noone in America "suffers". Or less than 100k voters anyway.

You think everyone in America is rich

way richer than Indonesians and Flipinos at any rate. The bottom 10% of Americans has over 20.000$ incomes on average, I mean: bigger than national averages of Indonesia and Tagalog.

They can't feed their families

Welfare and child protection services (which Clinton wanted more of)

put them through university

a luxury (which Clinton wanted more of)

are going to have to live with other folk because they can't afford housing.

living with other folk = having housing

a working class individual who makes 25,000 a year

far above the poverty line and more than I make.

it's not like anyone here barely ate for two months straight to save money.

lmao

All I came here to say was that this conversation/thread is pointless in the first place, and y'all decide it's worth digging yourselves deeper and deeper into.

Look at Eklipse's hopes and dreams, his vision of the world, what he sees as "big" and worthwhile, where he sees himself ending up in 5, 10, even 20 years. There's no reason to really hate or feel sad for him over it, but there's a reason he's still so bitter and resentful of our 'arrogance' even after a victory- it's because he too realizes those dreams are tiny and meaningless.

If you're part of the 'globalist, urban, educated elite' that large chunks of white, working-class voters in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania decided to engage in a futile 'rebellion' against- there's straight-up nothing to worry about. Even these people's wacky imaginations will concede to you that they see us as so powerful they think we've been running the whole world for decades now. They know we've won, and there's nothing they can do to stop us. They can kick and scream all they want, but we're all on the train to a brighter future- and not one of them can do a single thing to stop it.

Don't sweat it. If worse comes to worst, we've long since developed the tools we need for resistance- just keep working, stay prepared, and stay ahead. It's not our game- we're just the only ones who bothered to learn how to play.

So let them enjoy the one small victory they get. Drop threads like this. We've been winning for so long there's no way we can muster up the anger to match theirs. Repeat after me:

Clinton lost. Trump won.

And that changes literally nothing in the long run.

They lost before they even got started.

Read knyte's last post, it looks like a lame supervillain speech. There's two possibilities:

1) He's just trolling and should be ignored accordingly.

2) He's telling the truth and really is a cold, calculating, machine of a human without empathy or common decency. We should all work to knock him off his high horse. He sadly doesn't realize that his top-heavy system is unsustainable and will crash and burn one way or another. His comrades will continue giving rise to more socialists, alt-rights, and radicals of other shades.

Welfare and child protection services (which Clinton wanted more of)

Taking away the ability to care for your children is morally bankrupt, regardless of the intent to care for them with social programs

you're becoming worse than prince of felidia. if you really did that, you'd be dead or at least hospitalised.

Barely. I mean, defining barely, it was usually having days where I wouldn't eat and most days being where I ate below what I should eat. Anyway, you're almost as bad as Knyte, but at least you don't accept that some folk have sucky lives and revel in the suckiness.

it's because he too realizes those dreams are tiny and meaningless.

Stop being a nihilist just because you lost, you're worse than me or Eklipse complaining about our problems.

They can kick and scream all they want, but we're all on the train to a brighter future- and not one of them can do a single thing to stop it.

We'd all be on a train to auschwitz if it was up to you. Besides, the Clinton train was to Moscow and had lots of gun on it, that's no future for you or I.
