"rules are rules" this was before the game even started we hadnt picked yet and i ask for a few seconds. guess the 10 min thing that use to be accepted across the board is no longer honored. i see this happening more and more. btw. i know some disagree with me. but if you do agree. Simple solution... don't play 5m boot team games. At least not with strangers.

again, I know this is annoying. but this will keep happening if ppl take longer than boot time to take moves. just find a boot time you are comfortable and stick with it.

this is whats frustating tho. my average time is like 2 min. but i need a few extra because of slow to pick and respond teammates, so i ask dont boot for a few seconds. and the very second it hits 0 i get booted. he was sitting there refreshing trying as hard as he could to be unreasonable btw. i just wanted to post this for people that agree with me. i know some dont but i dont see how. i get the rules and i wouldnt change them but when somone asks for some time. i mean come on.....

post note* I dont have problems with strangers. only the most obnoxious players on the game do this. And not voting after words seals it for me. 300 games played he has no excuse to do either especially both.

So in a 5 min boot game, you got mad when they booted you after TEN MINUTES?!?! Really? Go cry somewhere else, because you'll get no sympathy here.

Why start a real time game then instantly ask to wait while you get food? Shouldn't you get food then join games? 5min boot is just too short so I'll stick with avoiding those games altogether.

Why is Italy a noob map? I checked, and cant find the distinction in choosing maps between noob and vet. I see Real maps, fantasy maps and the like, but not a way to choose noob maps.

I thanked him because I appreciate it when people post these things. It saves me playing with somebody whose style clashes with mine. If somebody wants to play in that way, it's fine. I wont complain about it, but i'm going to Blacklist them and not play with them. It's what the Blacklisting function is for.

@Sarge : The Bonus Region of Italy on the Europe map is a bad start because it's too big and hard to conquer quickly due to it's design

Some people (myself included) think that the manuel boot is designed for booting persistant slow-pokes, whilst the auto-boot is the deadline. I want to have a fair game, and not be booted because I slipped over the time limit by a minute. Obviously if I consistantly do my turns right up on the 5-minute mark, I should be booted, but doing it on the very first chance you get is seen as unsportsmanly like. Doing it on round one is even worse, because it completely ruins the game (team games, atleast), as the one side will now definately win.

@ sarge. its coutosey, thats all. and vets are the only ones that have it apparently. mutual respect and understanding. its viewed as abusing the system. and extreamly weak win you do it to win games. which i beleave was the case as this particular subject( of many) did. most people wait for 10 min in any situation other than someone taking 6 mins for the 6th time. because of computer/communication issues.

booting on the deploy stage w/o VTE is something that noobs do to pad their stats. Vets won't do it because most reliable vets play the game to have fun, and 3v2 = lame
