"In July this year my oldest daughter with 10 year old went viral for being a 10 year old guy platinum League of legends player. She was massive broadcasted among the community and her videos (or videos about her) reached a few million views. Her(our) channel has 72k subscribers now and expected to reach 100k at some point next year."
Eh, not really sure why that should have been such a big deal. No offense to your daughter, she's definitely much better than most players her age, and most players period, but there have been 10 year olds ranked much higher than Platinum. Highest I am aware of is a boy that was Challenger at age 10.
Sadly I think it likely was a bigger deal due to her gender than her age to most people. The notion that girls can't be good at games needs to die.

it's a big deal to dunga couz a) it's his daughter and he helped her reach that point b) managing a youtube channel and making regular youtube videos and editing them takes some work which surely is not done entirely by the daughter
being jealous of a 10 year old girl is a bit silly of you.

PS: Nowhere did I suggest it shouldn't be a big deal, to him.
What I don't understand is why such a thing would go viral, it's impressive, sure, but not at all unheard of for young people to excel at games.
Pointing that out has absolutely nothing to do with jealousy. Platinum is roughly top 10%, it's a decent achievement, especially for a 10 year old, but it's certainly not something I'd be jealous of. What is silly to me is the instant assumption that any comment that isn't 100% complimentary is fueled by jealousy.
Top 10% at something is typically achievable by most anyone that works hard. It's not like top 0.01% where it requires a ton of natural talent.

What exactly have I said which is not true?
If you were proposing that one should only speak if their words are, kind, necessary, and true, then I'm afraid you might as well just rip your tongue out of your mouth, because you surely won't have much worthwhile to say in your life.
Personally, I'm much more in favor of: If you think it, say it.
People who follow your mantra will never amount to shit.
Criticisms are worth far more than flattery. Or at least they are to anyone who's ever going to amount to anything. Anyone that prefers flattery is weak-minded and destined for failure.

Uh, that "mantra" is by the Buddha, and you're supposed to get past all the gates (kind, true, necessary). You can be critical without being a dick, man.
I've taken the liberty of editing your first post to be able to (roughly) fit within the three gates :) (See below)
That's awesome, Dunga! Congrats to you guys :) I've actually heard of a few other kids around her age that have made it to that skill group as well - I think I saw somewhere that a boy was Challenger at age 10. I think there's a big issue in our society these days with how there's an assumption that girls can't be as good at video games as guys. Clearly, your daughter is able to show just how misplaced that assumption is - and being only ten years only as well!

That quote is absolutely not from Buddha. It is falsely attributed as such frequently enough though.
Its origin is unknown, and more widely believed to be an adaptation of a poem from the 1800's.
And yes, I stand by the statement that following it is harmful.
It's self censorship, something I am never going to approve of, it's self righteous blather, and anyone who preaches it is a hypocrite, because I guarantee they speak far more than necessary. Truthfulness is the only one your gates I place any value in.

Good point on the quote; my bad. The saying is still powerful, and very relevant all the same.
Here's an actual excerpt from the suttas that follows very close to the quote in question: “Monks, a statement endowed with five factors is well-spoken, not ill-spoken. It is blameless & unfaulted by knowledgeable people. Which five? It is spoken at the right time. It is spoken in truth. It is spoken affectionately. It is spoken beneficially. It is spoken with a mind of good-will. A statement endowed with these five factors is well-spoken, not ill-spoken. It is blameless & unfaulted by knowledgeable people.”
I will be the first to admit that I do not follow through with it. But all the same, I use it as a guideline for when I'm trying to teach someone.

10 year old at COD = normal
10 year old at LoL = *big deal*
Being good at games is sure impressive.
If you want to be jealous, there are 10-18 years /children/ who are already ++ superb ++ penetration testers that work at security companies or hack the Pentagon as their past-time.
Some /children/ really hacked in Pentagon and got sent to prison. Others work for the U.S. as security guys high intelligence stuff...
What is just wrong is probably discrimination towards children. If the Original Post said that instead of "her daughter", it is "Dunga" that got platinum, it is smthing to boast about too. :)
If someone in his youth does something remarkable, people will say that he is gifted and genius. It is even better if he only does one "great thing [tm]" and dies young. Accomplishments in old age are not as highly regarded. Nobody will say that someone is a (real) genius if he solved some physics equations at 90 y/o regarding anti-matter, black holes and all the complicated stuff...
Cult of youth and discrimination is wrong. Older people and not 20 y/o need to be equally celebrated when they do great stuff.
LoL is mostly about APM (Actions-per-Minute) anyways. :P
