When I joined WarLight, I was a grassroots Republican. Now, I'm an Independent Progressive ( U FREAKING HAPPY YET OX?????????? I FINALLY SETTLED ON A TERM I LIKED ). I've changed a lot and I think much of it can be traced to my WarLight debates. Whenever I fought someone, whether it be Smedly being an A******, Ox losing his S*** over socialism ( " SIT DOWN OX, STOP SALUTING STALIN WTF " ) or GeneralPE having one of his infamous goat rants, I always learned something.

And believe it or not, I always researched all of your points. And when you were right, judging by numbers and logic, I'd change my stance. And when you were wrong, I'd continue kicking the S*** out of you in debates whenever possible.

I also, in the last 4 years, ton a crap done of reading and Independent thinking. It really changed me. Many people say that I don't have many core ideas or principles. And maybe their right. But, I'd honestly rather have the ability to look at ideas and be able to grasp them.

My activity on WL is slowly fading ( " THANK GOD THAT NIGGER IS LEAVING " - Karl ) but I'll be back eventually like everyone else who retires. But, I do wanna pay homage to the folk who made me think outside the box.

Then again it's partly because everyone argued with me in chunks while my ideas were shifting towards a more Anarcho-Capitalist mindset, so you likely got a Smedley Medley of ideas instead of a full package.
