Willy Balsch, did you just learn what logical fallacies are in your high school class, and now want to show off to everyone that you finally know what they mean?

i honestly and genuinely want people to learn that to have a debate, you need to address the other persons argument. those that already know that get pissy and say no shit. it's not directed at you.

What about your arguments by association?

Lots of people on Warlight like Trump. Trump's supporters are on average less educated than Clinton supporters. Therefore the Warlighters who like Trump are not as smart as me.

* Lots of people on Warlight like Trump. (I would say in the Off-Topic forum) -- YES
* Trump's supporters are on average less educated than Clinton supporters. -- YES
* Therefore the Warlighters who like Trump are not as smart as me. -- WAT?

I never said the last one.

So this is a strawman.

I've had dogs smarter than a lot of the Trump supporters in this forum but that they are Trump supporters is not the reason, their intelligence is the reason. And it's on an individual basis, not the group as a whole.

If you just want me to learn, why did you cry when exposed your ridiculously weak "arguments"?

Wally, can you use your logic skills (of which I'm thoroughly unimpressed of) to help me find the fault in this logic?

-Only awful players lose to triple picks.

-Player W loses to a triple pick.

- player W is awful.

-Player W is not even good, let alone the best.

all of the fallacies you are mentioning are redharrings, so given that this is an introduction to logic then it would be better to write that there are red herrings and that those three are the ones that you think are the most common.

Also it is not optimal to call red herring logical fallacies since it is not a question of the logical structure of the arguments but instead a problem whit the content not being relevant. if you say logical fallacies then it is to be expected that you are talking about mistakes in the formel structure of the arguments
