Just a more defined version of what's been going on, I guess?



101st > Master > REGL > Warlighter > Dragon > BR

There's probably some score inflation due to BR's losses - if you take the matches against them out, you get...

101st: +23 (34-11)
Master: +15 (31-16)
REGL: -8 (17-25)
Warlighter: -15 (12-27)
Dragon: -15 (15-30)
BR: N/A

It's unfortunate that BR was thrown into this kind of environment - pretty much the same as last season. Personally, although this may just be me, I would have preferred that group B be dissolved and then mixed with the new clans in three different groups :/

1v1 #2: Another tournament that's over! Scores are as follows...
1st - Hennns (REGL, 5-0)
2nd (Tie) - Unreality (101st, 3-2)
2nd (Tie) - Miyagi (Master, 3-2)
2nd (Tie) - PHD Dragon (Dragon, 3-2)
5th - Firestorm (Warlighter, 1-4)

1v1 #3: It's not over yet, with 2 more games left to go! The winner's still not decided, either. If Ekstone wins his last two games, he wins head-to-head against Grizzlis and takes first. Otherwise, Grizzlis' 4-1 record will secure him the win.

If nich wins against Ekstone, then his 3-2 score will beat the others head-to-head, and he'll be second place.

1v1 #4: This tournament has completed, also, with some pretty close scores, which follow...

2v2 #1: The tournament isn't over yet, but, in a surprise victory, the Dragon team has secured first in this tournament, going 4-1. Still, with 2 remaining games (101st vs. BR, Warlighter vs. Master), there's still points left to be earned here.

2v2 #2: Another tournament that isn't over yet, and there's one last game to decide who first is! If the Masters win their game against the 101st, they go 5-0 and obtain undefeated status. However; if they lose, then they will also lose their win to the 101st by the head-to-head matchup. Meanwhile, REGL and BR are battling for 3 points, as well as the rights to be 4th in the tournament.

3v3 #3: This tournament's far from being over - 6 games left. With 3v3 games being worth 4 points, winning or losing here could still shake up the rankings.

2v2 #2: 101st vs. Master, REGL vs. BR
3v3 EU: REGL vs. 101st, REGL vs. Warlighters, REGL vs. Dragon, Master vs. 101st, Master vs. Warlighters, Master vs. Dragons

- Master can still beat 101st at this point, if 101st loses all of their remaining games. If 101st wins vs. REGL, but loses both games against Master, 101st and Master will tie for 1st. Otherwise, 101st gains first.

- There is no way for Warlighters to catch up to Master.

- If REGL wins all of its games, they will beat Warlighters regardless of whether Warlighters wins vs. Masters. If REGL loses to any team other than Warlighters, then Warlighters will have to win vs. Masters to keep 3rd place. If REGL loses 2 games or the game against Warlighters, then Warlighters stays 3rd.

- The Dragons can beat REGL - but with REGL battling 4 different clans, it's mostly out of their hands. If REGL wins any two games, or wins the game against Dragon, then Dragon cannot take 4th.

- BR has no way to beat the Dragon clan.

Either way the results look like this (IIRC 2 teams relegate and 2 promote)

why do you count points differently to the other groups?

ok. you count correctly - only form the last post it was not clear..

so not much to see left I guess. Only thing to determine is who gets relegated from REGL and Dragon

why do you count points differently to the other groups?
The +/- form and the raw score form have their advantages and disadvantages - With the raw score, the minimum score a clan can receive is the score they have right now - as opposed to the +/- form, where the minimum score is "Current - Remaining".

Basically I'm lazy and hate subtraction :P

Riyamitie - but the two systems can give different results. as it does matter not only who is the winner, but also who is the loser of each game..

When all games are settled, you can switch interchangeably between the two. The raw score sets "0" at 0-90, whilst the +/- score sets "0" at 45-45.

To get from Raw Score (R) to +/- Score (S). using the Maximum Amount (M)...

R*2 - M = S
(S+M)/2 = R

The only difference is that the +/- Score makes differences seem twice as big... and it also makes these fringe cases harder to consider because each win raises the minimum by 2x the amount of points it should give. :3
