why there's no option to hear when time is running out? we all know about multitask, i usually hear when I've been booted, I'd like to hear about the game before that happens!

there's a noise when the turn starts.. perhaps a ticking sound 5-10 seconds before the end could be useful, esp. in autoboot games..

how is 5 to 10 seconds enough anyway ... had to be at least 30

if the # and % of time a player boots someone else were kept track of (like how often we get booted) the system could do something funny:

with 30 seconds to go, it could automatically say, "Hurry up, Player X [whomever has the highest booting %] is about to boot you! He's a real bastard! Be careful."

that would make me go a little faster.

I would prefer a warning before boot, so after someone click boot player, a pop up comes in with a 10 second time, saying you are being booted with an option to extend your turn for 60 second if you click a button or accept the boot.

"1 minute to forfeit your move. Having a nice day?"

the timer turns red with 30 seconds left, isnt that enough for you people?

Apparently not. I do like this idea though. Maybe switch out the music for something different, or speed it up Mario style.

Or a simple siren.

myhand, there is a turn beginning sound already.. a turn near ending sound is mainly to let you know "Hey, idgit, your about to get booted, finish now"

x, I never really look at the timer when I am making my turns, personally.

the red timer doesn't work if you have several tabs open doing several things at the same time, remember our pc's are multitask.

im sorry, i just assumed everyone else got distracted by the timer and spent entire turns staring at it, being snapped back to reality only by the blood-red flash which i will forever associate with the number 30.

Safe to say I am not a fan of this. I'm usually listening to music while playing and it's bloody annoying! Is there any way I can turn it off? I haven't found a way to do it.

Check for the "Sound: On" button in the top right to disable sounds.

That was my first though too - but it doesn't work. The countdown ticker still sounds. I always have the sound off anyway.

Oops! Okay, it's fixed now - it won't tick anymore if sound is off or if it's not your turn. You may need to refresh your browser to get the fix if you already had the game open.

**about a countdown sound**

on the state where i left the game, i heard countdown sound when I was removed from the game by the other host.
*(I was in wait on the state of my games tab, of course)*

it's not working 100% ok yet, it works, it has helped me a lot not to get booted a lot of times, but it does a lot of strange things, I'm sure they know it
