I received this in a team chat, from a teammate, today. It was from LeHappy Merchant @15.14.19 o'clock

"i cant believe you fucking didn't make a death stack, then you would of fucking steam rolled green like i am with blue, now orange is going to get raped, fucking hell"

and I responded @16.00.05 with

"Enough swearing. This is a game. Played for fun. Not for you to abuse other players. I quit."

Finally, after failing to chill out I came back @17.23.11 to conclude

"LeHappy, I have never played this map, nor have I been in such controlled team play. I really don't care what you think of me or my tractics. What disturbs me and has convinced me to black list you, is that you will ruin this fine place for other players. Also, being an advanced player you could bring down the whole Warlight experience for any new player. Why make this place into a name calling insult ridden degradation of personalities? I avoid gaming places where people get dumped on. This is the first time I have ever seen such abuse here. Until now I have been coached, instructed or mildly scolded for avoidable errors - and learned how to be a better player for it. Never having played a map like this in my life I have No Idea What You Are Talking About! I am not stupid. I will listen, but I will not be abused"

- I was told there was a "black list" here, a forum to settle disputes or something - but had [and still have] no knowledge of it's use or function.
- Can one get a restraining order, so to speak, for use in Warlight? A feature that would fence both parties from each others' awareness? So that open games, tournaments and such would be unavailable (and invisible) to one side of the restraining order as soon as the other had joined? I don't even know if it's a good idea or policy...

I am sorry LeHappy was so upset, wish he'd have said something, Anything At All really, before blowing bile

I am so glad deliberately offensive language is not the norm in this place

Hey oakadelic. Keep in mind, you are playing a war game. Very often a players temper gets the better of him. Just relax after the game and play another one if you can.

Sometimes an insult even seems justified, especially if the insult is emotionally needed to feel better and not to become mentally disordered. In such a case you have to ponder what priority to set: either insult someone and potentially get banned from WL or become inmate of a nuthouse. There sure are some really nice but Crazy Dudes around here who never insulted s.o. but now have to play WL from a looney bin. Too late for them, but not for you!

That's basicially what the Blacklist is :) you can find it on his profile. (where you can also report him (bottom of page) if you feel the need to do so).

I've got my own experiences with LeHappy Merchant. He used a picture of a rather infamous German actor back then and accused me of being a Nazi, claiming my ancestors murdered members of his family and all that. His arrogance and blatant slandering got on my nerves the most, since several of my family members were in hiding due to their religious affiliation and the fact that my great grandmother didn't want to send my 8 year old grandfather to the front during the battle of Berlin (no joke, they actually tried to give him a gun, apparently).

Long story short, he's an ass, blacklist him and report the game to Fizzer.

To blacklist someone, go to their profile. On the left hand side you will see 4 buttons. Click on the "+Blacklist" button. If it works successfully, you will see the text "Added to your blacklist." If you wish to report a player for their behavior in a game, you shouldn't use their profile. You should go to the game in question, click on their icon in the game (in the bottom right hand side), and click on "Report" and continue the process from there.

Hello everybody I would like to reply to this thread with a good note
I wish to apologize to oakedalic for using profane language, however as mosquito_retired said, I felt it was justified, it was just one of those games where its a 5v5 and 1 person screws up, the whole match goes to crap what really pissed me off is how someone was using all the reinforcements cards without the teams permission or notification.
, and as for [Lynx] Hauptmann you spurted out Anti-Semitic quotes in which I was offended, you had made claims about your ancestors killing my people and thus preceded to deny the holocaust, which got me very pissed, but this is all in the past know and I am glad I blacklisted you.
Aside from that I usually do not post in chat nor read it, the only times i do however is giving strategies to my teammate in tournaments or in diplomacy games, which can be frustrating sometimes when people hold up the game instead of voting to end in those situations.
