I mean frontline unites.

I think no. Even if they are physically capable, women are likely to be emotional, and may disrupt unit morale thru romances. Straight men should be the only ppl allowed in combat roles, period.

Women should be screened for the front lines with estrogen tests and psych evals. Gay's should have their own units. Moot argument though. Too many gays and women would be pissed. I could see homosexuals embracing a gay unit though. It would be a great PR story for another big war.

18th century was when gayness was becoming much less punished (or not punished at all, as in France), absolute kingdoms beginning to be stopgapped by parliaments or folkdoms, (((rationalism))) in Europe began to take hold, as did (((liberalism))), ending serfdom and some militaries stopping torture. No, 11th is more what he wants I think.

I do feel uncomfortable with women being in the military, but that's just me. I believe women can be in the military, I just don't like the idea of it. Call me sexist, but I believe it's a man's job to protect, both at home and away. So, though it's not my favorite idea, I do believe women should still be allowed in the military.
Homosexuals and women should both be allowed in the military, but they need their own units. Overseas rape, or even consensual adulterous affairs, are far too common.
Now, women don't tend to be as strong as men. Men's bodies and women's bodies are made for entirely different things. On average (obviously there are exceptions, this is just the average), men are stronger, faster, and have better hand-eye coordination. Plus, they think quicker. Women are not smarter than men, men are not smarter than women. I'm not talking about intelligence here. I'm talking about mental capabilities. Women are better at multitasking. Men are better at thinking on their feet (which tends to be much more valuable in an active war zone).
I'm not going to rant all day. Basically, men's bodies are basically the perfect killing machines. Women's are not. They can be, but it's not natural. Women's fists and faces weren't made to take a blow.
I believe both men and women can be in the military, though men are better at it (this is not an opinion, this is a fact). Among soldiers, however, the women are just as skilled as the men. But if you took 100 average men and 100 average women and asked them to be soldiers, the men would be much better soldiers.
In closing: women can be soldiers, yes, but they need to be held to the same physical standards as men. We can't accept second place soldiers just for "equality."
Same goes for homosexuals. Most gays tend to be feminine, but I'm assuming they won't be if they want to join the military. Regardless, they too need to be held to the same standards.
Everyone, and I mean everyone, needs to be held to the same standards as any white, straight man. And if you can't meet those standards, you can't join the military--regardless of your gender, sexual orientation, race, age, or religion. That is true equality.

Well, just because gays mught be feminine-which is not always the case-doesn't make them biologically unable to take a pounding
