i like that the new prez speaks directly to the people on a platform that is short and simple 140 characters. nobody watches long ass speeches anymore. he speaks his mind on the spot, which is a good thing.

Is it a good thing? Is the president's opinion really that important? Shouldn't he be finding conclusions that work for everyone, not "his mind"?

Trump can tweet what he wants to tweet. But he should realize that his opinions are not direct US policies. You need Congress for that.

I believe he's talking as though Fake News is actually a news channel, using it to make fun of the real news channels. Thus, assuming he was speaking in that context, Fake News would be grammatically correct.
For example: "The fake news channel gives fake news."
Versus: "Fake News gives fake news."
Pretty sure he meant the second.
