AMENDMENT: Sneak-attacking could actually be a cool way to create role-play if you are the Fire Nation or a little Earth Kingdom Village or Kingdom, but if everyone does it the game will get out of hand. This game is mean't to be LIGHTHEARTED and kind of SILLY just like the real Last Airbender show, hence the Otter Penguins slot.

I encourage only experienced players to take superpower slots and depending on how this goes I might make a lvl requirement.

Scenario: The game takes starts in 0 B.H.Y.W.(before the Hundred Years War), however this is an alternate universe and everything that happens after the disappearance of Aang and Appa is up to the players. The Fire Nation has a booming economy that is thriving from trade in the Fire Nations's capital by merchants and craftsmen, as well as the production of military supplies like metal armor, steam-powered war ships, fire bending powered tanks and the research of Airships. The Earth Kingdom is vast and diverse, Ba Sing Se is a massive city and the home of the Earth King, stories of it's greatness are told throughout the world, but few ever visit the city and of those who do fewer return. Ba Sing Se is kind of secretive and reclusive, but no one really pays very close attention. The South Pole and North Pole are inhabited by Otter Penguins and Spirits respectively, who are allied so closely they are on a team. The Air Temples are inhabited by peaceful monks and in the Southern Temples are non-bending nomads; The temples are separate from each other, but have similar culture. Fire Lord Sozin's eyes are set on expanding the Fire Nation, but only he knows of his plans and he is growing old and waning in strength, he may die before is plans ever come to fruition. EVERYONE IS INDEPENDENT. Every turn = 6 year.

Team O: Lizard Peninsula

Team P: Chameleon Bay

Team Q: The Kingdom of Omashu

Team R: The Si Wong Sand Benders

Team S: Central Earth Kingdom Villages

Team T: Slot K: Spirits of the North Pole
Slot M: Confederation of Otter Penguins

I am afraid to say this but the rules are sort of more like guidelines, because I think too many rules or specifically making declaring war mandatory or introducing PEs disrupt role play and cause was too much frustration and arguing, however if everyone simultaneously decides to surprise attack than the game will become a shapeless melee. SO its kind of a dilemma. My hope is that people will take it upon themselves to punish sneaky or warmongering players just like respectable nations punish pirates and the like, that would avoid arguing and meld nicely with role play. In my original game the Fire Nation and Ba Sing Se were also superpowers, but Ba Sing Se was slightly weaker and all of the other nations didn't have capitals worth 50 so they were tiny and I thought the game would work well as long as the slots were filled by reasonable, respectful people, but alas Ba Sing Se was held by a guy who just wanted endless WAR so you can probably assume what happened... What are your thoughts on how to make the game run well, avoiding arguing and angry conflicts and also encourage accurate and fun role play?
