Trump Predicts Future...: 2/21/2017 14:34:06

For those of you that think Trump said there was a terror attack in Sweden last Friday night, here's what really happened. He predicted the future, he didn't misspeak.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2017/02/21/riots-erupt-in-swedens-capital-just-days-after-trump-comments/

Or maybe Sweden actually has an underlying problem... you decide.

So it's ok to be imprecise so long as your point is valid?

Because you said the exact opposite to me in the other thread, demanding i research and verify quotes before sharing them so they are 100% precise.

It's almost like you're holding what people post on forums to a higher standard than what the president of the United States says in speeches.

That or you lie constantly, fitting your alternative facts to any situation so you can attack or defend whatever or whomever you please.

@WallyBalls,

I'll spell it out for you.

Trump was always talking about the problems that Sweden has always been talking about problems in Sweden related to migratory movements.

You want to hear things, and made up a false narrative that Trump invented a terrorist attack. He NEVER said this. You wanted to hear this and made it so in your head.

Part of why you interpreted his comments the wrong way that you did was because he is an imprecise speaker and you are lazy and refuse to understand context of comments, especially if it doesn't fit your preconceived narrative.

So you lash out, saying,
*What Fox News reported and he repeated were bullshit

Riots happen in immigrant ghettos in Sweden the following day, affirming that there are problems with migrants in Sweden and Trump's intended comments.

*Meanwhile, you make up fake news about Trump creating fake news*
*Meanwhile, you accuse me of lying about your alt accounts, saying you never hide behind alts, from the wrong alt account*

Then, you come into my thread with 3 of you 8 alt accounts and try to win an argument with me. I remind you, getting into an argument with Wally Balls is like playing chess with a pigeon. The pigeon knocks over all the pieces and struts over the board acting like they won.

Shall I deconstruct your nonsense?

--So it's ok to be imprecise so long as your point is valid?
Its better to have a valid point than be imprecise. Its a shame that we can't have a President that can speck precisely and make valid points.

--Because you said the exact opposite to me in the other thread, demanding i research and verify quotes before sharing them so they are 100% precise.
This is not right at all. You post absolute bullshit, get called out on the bullshit, and then post 10 more articles claiming the veracity of your bullshit, without realizing that 4/10 of the articles you quoted as supporting your position were diametrically opposed to your position and 10/10 of the articles all cited the same bullshit source you posted.

It's almost like you're holding what people post on forums to a higher standard than what the president of the United States says in speeches.
--I hold all narcissists to the same standard.

That or you lie constantly, fitting your alternative facts to any situation so you can attack or defend whatever or whomever you please.
--Not really, I just hate stupid people that act smart and insult other people.

Pooh: Trump wasn't imprecise, he was completely and utterly wrong about Sweden in his tweet.
I assume you are a psychic if you can know what people intend to say while they didn't say it, at all.

The Fox News reporting was imprecise (as can be read all over the Swedish news as well as in the article you linked yourself).

Also: Sweden has an underlying problem: great joke. Sweden has problems for sure, just like any country in the world. But those problems are nothing compared to the problems in most countries, including America and only a fraction of those problems are due to immigrants. Feel free to fact check that. Trump, and in this case you as well, pull things completely out of context to fit the xenophobic narrative.

In this case, both you and Wally Balls are full of ****.

@MathWolf, I was referring to Trump's statement, reproduced below:

"When you look at what’s happening in Germany, when you look at what’s happening last night in Sweden - Sweden! Who would believe this? Sweden! They took in large numbers, they’re having problems like they never thought possible. You look at what's happening in Brussels, you look at what's happening all over the world," Trump said, according to Business Insider.

Wally Balls reads this and says, Trump made up a Terrorist attack.

The key imprecise phrase: "what's happening last night in Sweden - Sweden!"

According to the article that Wally Ball's alt Scratch shared in a parallel thread, Trump said something, and Sweden officials asked for clarification and waited for a response.

While responsible adults are waiting for a response and clarification to the imprecise phrase, Wally Balls 1) posts a commentary about deplorable people from his main Account and proceeds to 2) make up fake news by saying "Drumpf invented a Swedish terrorist attack in a speech", and 3) criticize other people for throwing out "Fake News" claims.

The crux of my primary argument is that you cannot have a rational conversation that makes up facts in their head.

As a secondary point, there are reports that rape reports are up 16% year over year in Sweden, there are a dozen "no-go" zones in Sweden that police officials do not go to for reasons of safety, A riot subsequently erupted within one of these no-go zones.

I'm willing and open to a debate about the veracity of these reports. But I also think it needs to be discussed if Sweden has side effects to admitting so many migrants. I am not saying that Sweden shouldn't have accepted the migrants, I am saying that they should accept them with eyes-wide-open and know what they're getting. On the whole greater good theory (that I'm loosely paraphrasing and imprecisely applying), I'm sure as a human society we are better off when you sum up all of the good and bad resulting from Sweden accepting migrants.

The allegations state that police are not even allowed to document if immigrants are being reported committing crimes. This is not an eye-wide-open approach to understanding what is happening, but its simpler to call people full of BS and slap a (bad-word)-phobic label on them when they just want to have the facts about what is happening.

Finally, I really doubt I subscribe to the xenophobic narrative you accuse me of having. I have personally opened my home to refugees, starting the process to assist refugees start their settlement in America. However, due to overwhelming complexity, administrative burden, political unwillingness, etc. it was way too much work for me to officially accept a refugee family into my own home. I called my political representatives, expressed my dismay that I could not even offer my home to refugees because of their policies, and instead made a sizeable monetary contribution to a refugee organization that hosts refugees and additionally purchased a whole starter-kit of housewares (blankets, plates, silverware, pots/pans, etc.) for a refugee family.

This isn't the: 'I have a black friend and thus am not racist' argument. I truly believe it is a tragedy that so many people are giving up their own lives and life in their own country, braving walks through the desert or open sea crossings in overcrowded "boats" simply to have a chance at a different life. It broke my heart, when I held a photograph of an elderly couple that was found within a Spanish bible that was found in the desert near the US-Mexico border. The fate of the owner of the photograph and the bible is unknown, but those possessions must have been some of their most prized possessions. They selected them to accompany them on a treacherous crossing of a desert. For one reason or the other, they became separated from their most prized possessions, forever losing them and likely the only tangible reminder of the loved ones in the photograph.

But my support of refugees and immigrants doesn't mean that I don't get to know what accepting them means for my society.

It's really sad that some countries like Saudi Arabia are so opposed to taking in refugees that the burden lies on countries that aren't even near the region. The refugees have to go somewhere, and when you have the gulf states being self-centred dipshits, but still willing to fuel the fire in Syria, plenty refugees end up in small areas that take too many.

also Sweden seems to not be very organised with how they've taken the refugees in. It looks like they've taken in whoever has reached the country first (wealthy single males in their twenties) as opposed to the people who actually need help the most.

However let's not act like Trump had anything to do with this. It's a tragedy, and many people have pointed it out. Just because your daddy says it, doesn't make it more true.
