When creating a game, hit "Custom Game" and right after picking the map, you'll see a "Team Game" drop down at the top.

If you are referring to 2v2 ladder teams, you have to become a member before you can join one of those.

Diabolocus, I think he means the clans. All the [XXX] in front of names and what not.
Adrian, there is no official clan structure for Warlight. If you want to create one, by all means go ahead and do so. Though I would recommend joining another one first to get more experience and see if it is even worthwhile.

just change your name on your profile. everyone you want on your team can put the same characters in front of their names. My grandmother and I both have "♥BFF♥" in front of our names - *bam* - instant team!
