Am i the only one that noticed how badly government-funded public schools want children, at a young age, to believe that the Earth is round? Thats one of the first things i was taught in science class. As there is no proof for evolution (not counting micro-evolution) and no proof for the Earth being round, isn't it just a religion? Why is it taught in schools?
I personally believe the Earth is Square, with each continent getting it's own side. Which is why you can't see Eurasia from The Americas, or Africa from Oceania.
I found this fact very strange too! They don't even offer any alternative ways of thinking and if you suggest an alternative theory to theirs, you automatically fail! sad!
microevolution is change within a species, like the breeding of dogs to create small or big dogs or specific hair types. It happens quickly. macroevolution is one species completely transforming into another species. like an amoeba somehow becoming a human along billions of years.
if you can control what young and impressionable children think, you can control the entire population. that's future generations you're influencing. one day those children that take any information you give them and believe anything will be running the country, holding high offices, and influencing the rest of the nation.
