I might join in next time around. Right now I'm struggling to find the time to keep up with my games as it is, but this didn't sound like a one-time kind of thing.
oops, just realized I've only finished 45 games. But I have no boots and a good win percentage... can I please play with the cool kids, pleeeeeeease? =)

A quick word on how I divided the two divisions:I made a list of all the players sorted them in order of 1v1 win percentage and then just went 1 2 1 2 1 2.... down the list. Hardly an accurate measure of skill but it seemed as good a way as any to divide us up. Most importantly its impartial and I had as little to do with it as possible.
Anyone signing up after now I'll simply place in whichever division needs a player to even things out.
Also if I made a mistake on the tournament settings or anything else, now is the time to shout "Stop, you hideous fool!" but I think we should be good to go.
Works out great. We needed 2 more to even out divisions. Everything is set to go, we're just waiting for a few players to accept and then we'll get underway.
Another thing to point out, I fixed the comment settings on the site so that you can comment as a guest. Whether that's a good thing or not, time will tell :P
Also the results of the first poll are in. The question was: 'Is this a poll?'. Despite an alarming amount of uncertainty, in the end the consensus was: Yes. Yes it was. Exciting stuff.
Well, since emgzapper appears to have quit warlight I am willing to help coordinate Proving Ground. I would have to have a member who is willing to make tournaments for Proving Ground to help me out though.
