The severity of the issue is relatively small when compared to other tragedies with far greater death tolls such as traffic accidents, health issues and so on. That doesn't invalidate the right's concern of terrorist attacks increasing in frequency, which is clearly a problem worth talking about. Terrorist attacks (much like murders, rape, etc) are not accidents, they are done with the specific intent to kill. Those who die at the hands of terrorists are victims of first degree murder, and it's even more frightening and terrible if someone you know had been affected. The right from what I understand is just looking for answers on how to mitigate the frequency of the attacks. I am not an islamophobia like many of them, but I appreciate their concern for other human beings.
