For those who are new to WGL, this was a weekly realtime tournament series hosted and livestreamed by experienced warlight players with in-depth analysis and commentary. Nowdays it's no longer weekly, it's whenever we bother. The broadcast (stream) is hosted on twitch.tv, chat participation is encouraged.

WGL #152 is happening this coming Saturday, the 17th of June.

(1vs1) - Saturday - 12:00 US/Central // 18:00 GMT // 19:00 Continental Europe (GMT+1)

Template will be using some MODs, including pick your opponents starting point, random wastelands and nuke card.

This uses the Unity client.

People without a member account will be able to participate, either using your their test memberhip period, for those who already used their test membership period Fizzer will give you an additional time to be able to join the tournament.

Tournament and livestream will be created half an hour before the scheduled start. Everyone is welcome to join. We encourage all - experienced players and newbies alike.

Since this WGL is unique in that it is using not-yet-released WarLight features (Unity client + mods), I'm making a special exemption to the normal rules.

Normally the Unity client requires a membership. For this WGL, I'll help out anyone who doesn't have a membership that wants to participate in WGL.

The easiest way to get in is to head to https://www.warlight.net/membership and activate the month long free trial. Since WGL is a week away you can do this now so everything's ready.

If you've already used your trial, please send me a private mail and I'll give you another one.

Once you're a member, head to this forum thread to download the Windows, Mac, Linux, or Android version of the game: https://www.warlight.net/Forum/249786-warlight-unity-experimental-alpha-now-available

You can also try the WebGL version but I recommend one of the others since they tend to perform better.

Not going to be able to create a paypaul account for this unfortunately. So I'm out. Point being, This would have to be a smaller tourney? 16 probably.

Also - creating tourney with mods gives me error message about mods not being unlocked yet - what about that?

kzyho: fizzer will create the tournament, it's not possible to create tournaments with mods yet.

Fuck sake... I need a card? Ps when you wanted to monetize I didn't know I had to give my card details..

I remember I had a card once.. I was a bank manager for a school project.. Out of a 100 target market we managed to get 6.. Those 6 was the actual bank team.. I will try to find it and give a unnecessary update to you all to say if I found it or not.

maybe it changed in the last few years, it didn't use to require introducing card details to be usable.

Zeph if you message Fizzer he should be able to look it up for you, he did it for me as well on my 2nd account and now i know till when i still have membership on there and this is a lifetime account

His profile says he's a member since 28 VI 2016, so if it's yearly I'd assume it expires in 15 days
