Fizzer, you took enough time to make a decent template choice, but that's what happened.
I was really motivated for Seson XIX but I think I'm out already. :(

Well the ladder page says XXIX so I guess Fizzer missed an X when making this post. Twice. xD

It was Aura but i explained why i think Eberron would be a bad choice.

At least it's no random move order but still a very boring template with only 1 or 2 different strategies to play.

Phobia and Malvia were the most prefered templates.

Please tell me this is a joke :(

This is such an awful template with really frequent stalemates and all you do is clusterpick an hope you're alone there...

Mmmm... I have mixed feelings about this one.

On the one hand, I like Eberron World a lot. I find it really fun to play, the neutrals set at 1 make it rather unique. And that's what I expect from the Seasonal Ladder, something unique. So I will certainly not miss this season!

On the other hand, I agree with edge and timi when they say stalemates are frequent here.
The template is better now that it uses cyclic move order instead of random, but the map still has a lot of chokepoints and expanding is very costly. So we can expect to have a lot of games end in stalemates and go to force-finish. I don't think Eberron World is a good fit for the seasonal ladder format.

We've been here before haven't we when we don't like template...

Knew Fizzer wouldn't pick a nice template so all I hoped for wasn't Commanders or Strat MME.

It's a bit sad that's the criteria I'm determining my feelings about seasonal templates...

Eberron World is great if you love micro-managing your armies - so I may play the seasonal.

i was just going over some profiles to look who they are playing against and noticed the pretty strong opponents for Bjarke mostly.

Mr. Dolphin (aka tacky), local (aka KKND), Wini and Njord. All them are players who have the skills to finish in top 30 for the season and to get all of them to start off with is just insane.
