I caught an alt account
Christouxphr and asdjk= one person. The games are below to prove it. I want the accounts banned. Will reporting be enough?

Blacklist, report. But please don´t spam forum with this nonsense. You can have as many accounts as you want in FFA or Team-games as long as you call them your brothers.

I read stuff on this forum. There are lgbt debates and BBQ recipe swaps. I highly doubt a warlight question is spam.

Joined on same day and from same place. Can report them for alt account on FFA-which gives them unfair advantage.

Yes. If everyone who reported a player did it through a post the forum would be 99% report/blacklist threads. As ℳℛᐤƬrαńɋℰ✕ pointed out, this kind of threads are frowned upon.

Only people using alt accounts would find a post about alt accounts so offensive... interesting. How many warlight accounts do you use?

There are thousands upon thousands of players playing WL, of which folks reading the forum are a minority. The likelihood that someone will meet such player is very low, rendering the thread borderline useless. And even if some do, there is nothing they can do against them after that happened (unless they get to team up everyone against the cheater). So the thread has literally no use. If you really want to get rid of the cheater, then hit the report button. It really is self-explanatory <shrugs>

OP has too much of an issue with alts.

Yes what the player in that game did was wrong, because he rigged an FFA by playing on two accounts (this greatly increases his chances of winning and isn't fair to the other players). I would say that he deserves a warning if anything though, because outright banning a player for this is absolutely assinine in my opinion, and I believe in chances as opposed to a from the get-go no tolerance policy. We also have no proof that the two aren't brothers, which is a point brought up by another player. It IS possible that they are, even if it's less likely.

Second of all your animosity towards alts is interesting. Alts are usually not used with the purpose of rigging games. They are usually used with the purpose of joining yourself on same team, being in several clans at once, having another username, sometimes level resetting and creating byes in tournaments, could be other reasons. Alt-accounting certainly does not make a player a scumbag, and I rarely encounter players who actually use alts with the intent to cheat.

By the way, this thread doesn't belong in OT.

They could actually be brothers. I introduced my two brothers to this game, and even though they don't actually play outside with me in private games. Though they have requested playing an online FFA together(Which I declined because one: I'm a Diplomacy player, and two: the suck)
