I am at my wit's end.

Several attempts have come up fruitless.

No matter what progress I make, I am always wasted.

Even if I manage to kill the first 2 bosses, by the time I do that, the one in the top right is too powerful.

Can anyone help with a strategy?

Concentrate on Spain first and Italy. You need to control the seas and let the AI fight each other as much as possible.

Honestly this level should not be too difficult for you since you've reached this far.

Ok I played it again and uploaded to youtube.
Control of the seas is key. Each coast you take is a bonus less for the AI. Concentrate most of your forces there.

Personally I thought this level was relatively easy.
