Hello!

Just a quick announcement: The "tournaments" sub-tab that used to exist under the Multi-Player tab has been moved to the Community tab.

The reason for this is because the Unity client doesn't support tournaments yet, and Unity takes over the multi-player tab completely.

This is a temporary home for it. Eventually we plan to make it live under multi-player once again, however that can't happen until Unity supports tournaments, and Unity won't support tournaments until after it's launched.

This is all part of our efforts to launch the Unity client, which is going to be a big improvement for WarLight once it's done. Exciting things are coming!

I don't get it.

What do you mean by 'completely'? I have unity disabled in settings and there is no sign of unity in multi-player tab. Why not leave tournaments link as it used to be in such case?

I can get into all my multi-player games but NOT into my tournament game. A pop-up states "maintenance", "come back in a minute". I've tried a number of times over the past hour and get the same pop-up.

What I mean is that when you enable it, it takes over the multi-player tab completely. As in, there are no sub-tabs.

It would just be confusing to have it in different places at different times. Imagine you're used to it in one place, then you enable Unity and you can't find it. You ask your friends or on the forums and everyone's all like "What? You're crazy, it's right there on the multi-player tab!"

Further, I have to support the game, and when I'm writing emails like "Click X, then Y, then Z, then ..." if you have things in different places for different people, I always have to say "Click X, then Y, unless you're special person X then click Q, then click Z..." It's a huge pain.

I understand that right now, not many are running the Unity client. However, that's going to change more and more as it gets closer to launching and then finally launches.

Yeah, that makes sense, but stil you could put this link in both versions with message like 'Sorry, Unity client doesn't support tournaments yet" and everyone would be happy :P
