1v1 Ladder rating of 2374 with a undefeated run really impressive!

The stalling though is even more impressive :)

Both his games are lost. I know his game against tekzen is lost for quite some time, sometime between the 25th and the 27th july and NoMercy said in the game chat against Xenophon that this game is also lost, but he doesn't want to leave the 1vs1 ladder, yet.

In my mind that's a pretty disgusting move from him. If u lost a game, be a man and surrender this game, don't stall it just to stay at the #1 spot. He also blockades that spot for players like Kurdistan who also deserved to get it.

This behaviour throws a shadow over his performance in general. Yes, he would have still got the #1 rank and the trophy, but stalling in such a manner without seeming to be embarrassed of such a behaviour is a pretty dick move from him. He probably won't care at all, but he should be ashamed of himself for those actions.

we should all take advantage of stalling so that way for every game you play against a staller you also get a game where you can stall yourself

this way it becomes fair for everyone since everyone will be doing the same "unfair" practices

we'll purposely make the 1v1 ladder unplayable until fizzer, a moderator, or someone else does something about it so that way all of you can shut up and stop b*tching about it everytime hints of the topic comes up

(message not directed towards anyone in particular just meant more to the community as a whole)

He is down to base income and running away from me to area of the map he know I am not present in. I think it is enough of a hint. What makes me especially sad is the fact that he is my countryman and long-term idol, but I cannot appreciate him anymore for his lack of sportsmanship...

Remove trophy for 1v1 ladder for stalling would be amazing :)

No reward = No stalling

(Cause trophy will always be removed)

Semice quit being a hypocritical idiot for once.

Boo-Hoo. Lower the boot time on the 1v1 ladder. His personality disorder shouldn't stop you from playing.

I agree with Plat.

Not mentioning it is also a kind of acceptance of cheating and we shouldn't accept it, cause i do think we're morally obliged to support the meaning of fairplay whenever we can. It doesn't matter if it's in reality of virutality. So it's the only right thing to point out cheating everytime we see that it gets undermined.

Fairplay and cheating are not the same here. Nothing says in WL's rules you HAVE to surrender, you can always play until elimination if you desire. Is it fairplay? Probably not but cheating is violating rules, stalling is probably not ethic but it is not violating any rule, hence it is not cheating.

Ofc it's cheating. U gain an advantage with stalling lost games. U can rise your rating and u can get a trophy by stalling. So that's definitely gaming the ladder to gain an advantage, which is cheating.

We don't know yet when NoMercy lost both games. He got the trophy on the 26th day. One loss and he would still get it. 2 losses and he doesn't get it. When the games are finished we can take a look at it and say it exactly. The Xenophon game seemed to be played prett fast on the 24th and also on the 25th until it took longer. That might be the point where it could have been lost. Against tekzen it was turn 12-13 which was about the 25th as well. So it's going to be an interesting look when both games are finished.

But nevertheless he gains an advantage on the ladder definitely in his rating, maybe in the trophy and also in keeping the 1st place, which blockades that place for other players and which gives him daily points as well. That's pretty much cheating on the ladder.

And what's exactly the matter if we call it cheating or no fairplay? Public shaming for bad fairplay/cheating is the only thing the community can do if the guys who could actually change the problem aren't doing it.
