Hi all, I noticed that the national flag on my profile changed. Before it was italian flag (correct one), but now it has changed to USA.... Why is that?

How can I put back the right one?

The game thinks you're connecting from Texas.

Perhaps you are using a proxy or VPN.

Even if you aren't, it's not very accurate anyway, I've had it frequently show the wrong state for me, but it at least has always gotten the country right.

No vpn or anything similar..

Btw, I'll wait for it to change.

You can take off your tinfoil hat. Any website with an account system of any sort tracks IP's.

IP tracking is more to prevent cheating in a way that you play a team game for example with multiple accounts but not all of them are on the same team. This way you are getting an unfair advantage in the game and that way the mods can easier find out if it's the same person playing on the accounts.

The flag is just the most common used IP in your last 10 sessions so if you have logged in while on holiday in Texas for example it might still have that as the place you are at but if just play enough it will change back soon enough.

Without some form of IP tracking it's also impossible to ban people. Thus, any site with a login page is virtually guaranteed to track its users IP addresses.

And even if the website itself doesnt track your IP, the goverment does it for you.

I took a look and it looks like WarLight's IP mapping database is out of date. I will update it. Sorry about that.
