Youtube rolled out an update.

The site is now made to be cross-compatible with mobile.

That means there is now a single version.
PC users get mobile buttons because everybody likes them.

Fits on the screen fine. At any resolution, I tested at 720p, 1080p, 1440p, and 4k.

I don't like it. Seems messy. Also, I'm not able to remove videos from random mix playlists anymore, and that quite pisses me off.

well, no one is ever happy about youtube updates anyways

I miss the 'old' style for playlists. Guess I'll need to make it better.

Install https://userstyles.org/styles/147341/youtube-dark-theme-playlists to change the playlists from a light theme to a dark theme.
Note: if you try to use a userscript to write any changes on YouTube, then you'll need to wait until the page fully loads otherwise you'll get null or undefined references.

yeah everything seems too big, but we'll all forget about it within 2 months tbh

I agree it "looks" big, but it scales well with screen resolution so it isn't really wasting space.

It fucking sucks

When I want to watch videos, I can't do this in Firefox because of lagging not present before. Surprisingly, Opera is able to handle them. No idea why.

Firefox is a lousy browser anyway. It leaks memory and is slow. Edge, Opera, and Chrome are all significantly faster.
