What are your thoughts on this world? Or should i say ''Train Tunnels and Moscow ruins''.

Was the best game I ever played on xbox live games with gold. Two thumbs up.

Both of them had there reasons for being good, but personally I say jack the difficulty up a notch in the first one, bunker down, and enjoy the story.

I think the series has books also unless that's what you're talking about.

The Metro series appeard as a book in 2005 in Russia as a novel by Dmitry Glukhovsky. 5 years later, the game would appear (as well as the book published in US )
Glukhovsky also wrote Metro 2034 and 2035,which became in the game series Metro :Last Light and Metro Exodus (though its action is set in 2036) (also is gonna to be released in 2018 )

On my opinion, its a nice game,and the story is quite interesting (for a guy who does not really enjoy apocaliptic sci-fi )

I'd probably like the books, but it'd depend on the quality of the translation I suppose as I don't speak Russian. The games at the very least though were fantastic.

Which factions did you like the most? I mostly liked Hansa and the Polis.

Indeed, i am a guy who does not get scared by any horror movies or games (except cheap jump scares) but outside of the metro really scared the crap out of me.

Don't worry, next game will have radioactive-free air and water on some places outside the metro.
