There is no such thing as Europe as a whole. Every nation is so different that the idea of "Europe" is imaginary. Germany is far more similar to Japan than Belarus, Russia, or maybe even Greece.

The EU tried to define such a concept as "Europe" and it is falling apart because of it.

Even the geographical distinction of "the continent of Europe" is imaginary. By purely geographical measures the continent is called Eurasia or Afro-Eurasia.

Linguistically, there is no common European language.

There is no common European Culture either. Unless Finns turned their Introverts into Extroverts and started acting like France. Or if Greece worked as hard as Germany. Or if the Czech's went to church as much as Poles.

Finland and Germany are often pointed to as similar countries but how do you think Finnish style universal Male-conscription would go over in Germany? People would be calling Merkel Hitler.

When was the last time the Irish ate Hungarian Gulash? You don't even have the same foods.

If Europe is unified then why does Poland demand ww2 war reparations from you and won't take refugees? A unified Europe wouldn't act in such self-centered manners.

And I haven't even gotten into the Western Balkans. They definitely don't feel unified. They hate each other. And if the Western Balkans "Aren't actually part of Europe" as I hear so many Germans say then you aren't even using the geographical definition of Europe. You are just defending the EU.

This is true, but not because Europe is doomed to be divided, but because the EU's execution of its idea failed. The EU is full of corruption and fails to face the real problems. Like illegal immegration in the last years - The EU was totally unprepared for that. Greece's economical downfall - totally unprepared.
The idea of an united Europe under the EU is the best that can to Europe and the only way to keep its strength. However the current version is more than a joke.

I would liken the "union" aspect of the European Union to herding cattle together for the slaughter. The EU was founded upon the principle of White Genocide.

We have to reform it hard.

Well, Germany was one of the countries from which Japan adopted most of it's modern aspect.

^ They were right to do so, god forbid if they copied the frogs we would see a VERY different Japan today.

Well,Germany started WW2, and during it made the Berlin-Rome Axis , in which Japan joined too. Im not sure if Japan would attack or not the Pearl if it wasnt part of the Axis,but since it done it , it brought America into war, which would fight against both Germany and Japan.
In 1945 , both countries were defeated, one in April 30, the other in September 2 (after the 2 atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki ). Then it started the ''Japanese miracle '', when it started to reconstruct in such a short time its entire economy,infrastructure, etc.During this period, the Japanese culture started to modernize and adopted more western stuff.This brought inspiration to Osamu Tezuka , the father of modern manga and anime.I think most of you know that the japanese animation movies had been made since 1907 (the very first 'anime' had only 4 sec ). But only after 1950's it started to bloom, and to reach the fenomen we know today.
So, if Hitler hadn't started WW2 , who knows how the japanese animation would have been today.
