Indeed, Good job Salah, and although I most likely will never play with you, I admire your modesty and great playing skills which I will probably never match :)

And good job Szeweningen, for your great and accurate representation of the more recent events.

I agree with the "just drunkcen" Sze. I thought Zibik was going to get to number 1 within 1-3 months. I even told him when I first got to #1: "I'll keep the top spot warm for you." But, given zibik's results, he still should have been rated #1 earlier, if a better ratings system were in place.

Guys like HHH, Zibik, Chris and Impaller should be given more credit for playing more games (4-5 at a time, 30-100 non-expired games at any moment). The system shouldn't (over-)estimate actual ability the way it does for players with a few games. If I had let a real-time loss to lobster expire after a multi-day defeat of zaeban, my rating might have jumped near 2300. Any rating above 2200 is not realistic. The absolute best players would have a rating between 2000 and 2200 if a sufficient sample size were taken.

And the 2v2 ladder is worse: play 7-9 bad/average teams and beat only 1-3 good teams and your rating is 2100+. Getting 10 wins in a row on the 2v2 ladder is easier than on the 1v1 ladder, if you start with a rating of 0.

Finally, Sze on the ladder(s). Now he can prove his worth.

Did you buy the membership, Sze? Or was it given to you out of sympathy (for your inability to win one) or for your contributions as a statesman of warlight?

Try to get Zibik on the 2v2 ladder. That could be interesting.

Just say it: "I invited myhand. I can't face real competition without Saladin or myhand to hold my hand." lol

Am I the only one who wants to see Sze and Gui play the 2v2 ladder together?
Could be interesting to watch them overcome their differences.

Gui Sze team would be a good way to show how important teamwork and communication is to the 2v2 ladder. They would win against low rated players, but lose in almost every game with actual competition and planning.

We'd eventually reach #1. No question about it. You underestimate us I think. I've played at least 2000 real-time team games, often with teammates who are Nazis, racists, idiots, fools, wanna-bes, know-it-alls. If I really want to win, I find a way to communicate effectively.

I wouldn't want to be Sze's teammate for a simple reason: When he first tried persuading some of us that he should be recognized as a top player, he wasn't yet, and all of his appearances in games against top players were with guys like myhand, Saladin, Zibik or me as his teammates. If there is a 3v3 and your teammates are 2 of the above, your team should win. I'd like to see Sze be someone's equal or, dare I say it, actually LEAD a team on the 2v2, rather than be along for the ride.

And you're only, like, 3 of those.

But yeah, Gui will talk shit on the forum, but in a game, he is all business, and pretty jovial in fact.

I entered the forum all business expecting rational responses and instead realized its just a big cesspool of forum fools, jesters and asses. My situation now:

"normal" person + anonymity + "total f***tards" (or the pretentious or obnoxious) = fool jester or ass in response

Can't beat them, join them.
