In a recent game, I had income of approx 3400 and used 3 -100% sanction cards on myself in one turn. By my calculations this should've resulted in around 25,600 income for the next turn (3,400 * 2 = 6,800; 6,800 * 2 = 12,800; 12,800 * 2 = 25,600). However I only ended up with exactly 10,000, meaning I effectively wasted two of the cards. There is no army cap in this game.

Is there an income limit of 10k? Can't find anything in the wiki about it.

Unless there is something I am not aware of, then there is no income limit.*


*Unless you go over 1 int (i think) in income. At which point flash bugs and you can't commit. But 10k is not close to that.

Looks like there is indeed a cap. Not sure when it was added.

Here is the first game I found with more then 10k deployed. Interestingly the Players tab says that he receives 10k, however the deploy was higher (see red last two turns).

Interesting. I wonder if it's just a display issue and you can in fact deploy more than 10k. I never thought to try it :/

This is definitely a bug or a deliberate setting as it has happened again in the same game and it would only allow me to deploy exactly 10,000 :/

I tried in Unity as well but it was still the same.

That other game was from 2013 so I guess it has been changed since then.

Negative sanctions cards can't increase your income over 10,000. This limit had to be added since games were breaking when numbers got too insane. I added it to the wiki.

If you're running into this limit, I suggest reducing the armies received in your game across the board (for example, halve all bonuses, reinforcement cards, base income, etc.) It shouldn't affect gameplay much and it reduces the chance you'll run into the sanity limits.
