I was thinking here about the possibility of the host gaining a small amount of xp every game they create,because they are the reason why the number of games in Warlight is so diverse.

Maybe the players could evaluate the game and the host would gain more or less xp,depending on the rating given by the players.Also,because Warlight will change to Unity,this change could be nice.

What do you think of this?

i mean. i would see this being to easily abused. now if there was like a option to give the host some XP at the end i see less abuse (like the winner giving the host some of their XP).

I think this idea could be better implemented.

Also,the amount given is based on a rating given by all players at the end of the match,so a bad game wouldn't gain much xp and could encourage hosts to create entirely new ideas in terms of gameplay

We get it just fine.

I get that it'd result in more games being made, and less games being filled, because everyone'd want to be the host. Awesome, longer wait time for games to start and a more cluttered open games page, just what we need.

on a certain level i agree there should be some XP for hosting, and even just losing a game.

the only problem is that there are so many people who would just abuse it to level up their alts faster, which would polute the game pool quite reasonably the same way that it happened with duel / lottery games

I find lottery games to be completely retarded. Slightly moreso than diplo games even.

there's no reason why anyone would choose to get xp this way over lottos (unless it's way too much XP given)

Gaining xp should be seen as a business! That's why even the host deserves to get xp, in fact, I want the host to gain 50% of everyone's xp in the game he/she/other made! This is probably a way to avoid fraud in the most neutral way ever!

a small fixed amount xp could be possible but you need some rules for it as well to give out the xp.

What i just thought of was give 100xp to host for every other player in the game, but the map needs like 10x as much territories as there are players to be able to get the xp. If that isn't the case the host won't get xp for the game
