One distinct group underneath the large "alt" right tent that is overlooked or mixed in with other groups is what I call the "metal" right. The "metal" right is basically unified by the heavy metal genre and includes traditionalists that are completely antithetical to Christianity; usually Satanists, Paganists, and Atheists. Nonetheless they are still traditionalists, often Nationalists or Monarchists. The politics of Varg Vikernes is the best example of the "metal" right.
The chief opponent of the "metal" right is the neoconservative and neoliberal establishment. As the Christian establishment becomes increasingly reconciled with the post-modern idea of social justice; as the boomer "Conservatives" and the boomer "Liberals" become united against the more organic alt-right and Libertarian elements, the religious views of the actual right wing will diversify.
