Now, lets see. You became #1 on the Warlight ladder, do you think you are the best Warlight player now?

NO.

I heard there were accusations of stalling.

What is stalling?

TO PLAY GAMES IN DIFFERENT KINDS OF SPEED, OR TO PLAY SLOW.

Is stalling wrong?

YES.

Now I saw that you played 5 games at one point. Does that make sense if you want to reach a high rating? Wouldnt it be better to concentrate on two games at a time?

YES. I DIDNT HAVE MUCH TIME.

@psykkoman, Take a look at the stats that Gevatter posted.

See that oppo ratings is only 1612. Now go and hunt for the other 16xx players in that top 100 list. Not many. In essence he has not even remotely faced opponents around the rank he has. {Of course it is technically a bit more complicated then that. But that is the gist of it. 20 games, 95% win rate, vs - on average - a 1612 player}

Also, you see the + and - stat. That shows you how confident the rating system is in the rating. A range of <500....it is not confident in his rating.

Compere it to Pardon, who on average plays a 2k player, his 2.2k rating is much more trustworthy.

My point is not really that he he suxs etc. etc. It is more that the underlying numbers are not impressive. Maybe he was good enough to get #1, maybe not. But based on this ^(current ladder) data sample we don't know enough to say yes or no to that.

There are several ways to 'solve' issues like this, however no such thing is in the current WarLight ladder. {Blame the System, is thus an acceptable argument. But that doesn't mean a player is not to blame - especially when a little abuse and stalling is done }

you have not read the tread?

also who gives a shit about him stalling to get a trophy, everyone that plays strat knows that all other trophies than the seasonal and the mdl one is completely meaningless(not that this should not change, but it has not uptil this point)
