For those who are new to WGL, this was a weekly realtime tournament series hosted and livestreamed by experienced warlight players with in-depth analysis and commentary. Nowdays it's no longer weekly, it's whenever we bother. The broadcast (stream) is hosted on twitch.tv, chat participation is encouraged.

Everytime a WGL is on, I can't play because I always have to go to some party. Freak coincidence? I think not.

I'm playing this regardless, Time to prioritise the more important things in life.

why not go to the party and be the weird guy playing warlight on his phone instead of talking to people and hanging out? :)

thats what he is doing moto... always... we dont even get platfree when he is out partying... urghh

How about I go to the party and while playing WarLight in the WGL tournament in a table isolated beside 2 or 3 girls trying to get my attention. I commentate on the tournament with you all.

so apparently the MDL is celebrating it's first anniversary, so we're gonna be focusing a little on that, more details about it on the MDL thread:

summarily:
- we'll premiere a new MDL template that Lionheart has been working on using Issander's rules (same as elitist africa but in another map and with proper colors), and hold the livestream on that template
- we'll have a list of MDL features that are on the todo list, which the winner of this WGL will be able to pick from as a higher priority for development on behalf of MotD and Muli
- we'll probably also have Fizzer on the stream for a short while to discuss latest developments on Unity client and such things.

Anyone got a link to the map / an example game of said template?

@Rikku, yes but we won't show it to you yet :P

afaik the map he is working on hasn't been released yet but from what i've heard he is working together with QB on refining the map so we will probably see the map in the coming few days then.

I probably won't participate but will probably catch the later parts of the stream if i'm not dead by then.

Is there an example game yet? As far as I'm aware there was some tinkering with the template, would be nice to have a practice game on it.
