While I'm not saying you're wrong, the article is very vague and cites very few sources. Would you have any sources that back this up, and say how they're going to do this? The guy from Oregon doesn't count, at this point. We have a Republican nominee who left his first wife on her deathbed and wanted an open marriage with his second, and then talks about family values. I find it hard to believe any one politician now. *weeps for his political system*

Hm, article is vague because the treaty is vague. After a little digging (and thanks for the extra links Vaporx), found the actual treaty here http://trade.ec.europa.eu/doclib/docs/2011/may/tradoc_147937.pdf . Worse than SOPA? Questionable, but still bad. Does not proactively get rid of anything; just makes ISPs tell who is doing what, essentially making your ISP the police force for copyright infringement. Also, gives motivation for things like SOPA and PIPA, so the country in question can properly say that they are following the terms of this (already signed very quietly) treaty.
