I just peacefully finished getting 100,000 to reach level 52 after winning a 2v2 ladder game... I go to the points section interested how many points I will need to level up once again. Overwhelmed with curiosity I opened the points page... shocked, I through my laptop on the ground and proceeded to stab it multiple times. 725,800 POINTS!!! WHY ME!

No but seriously, that's a lot of points to get.

Actually, it makes sense that levels are boosted after 52 since it's the last level you unlock something (for non-members). Any new "unlockable" features will be introduced at level 53+ so the best method is to slow players down after level 52 by giving them an exponentially higher point barrier.
