When making a map, how do you get the space between the lines, where the army numbers go?

i made a map before, but don't know how to make the centerpoints go in the center instead of the outline.

any help is appreciated, thanks

You should make only the territory lines in the Inkscape. The centerpoints can set in the warlight editor after when you upload the ready svg map to the editor.

Maybe you didnt set correct object ID to the territory (Territory_1, Territory_2, etc.)

There are a button: "Get link for sharing". Maybe if you give a link, we can say more.

Did you ever heed my suggestion to draw shapes in Inkscape, rename them as territories and then upload them to Warlight to test how it works?

What a strange map :D

I believe I know the problem. Because these are not conventional territories but "hollow ribbons", and the editor manage them as full objects and allow the centerpoints to their geometrical interior.

Maybe. This is just my opinion. I dont know the solution.

Good luck! :)

Describe 'didn't do anything'?

Did it not show up? Did it not become a territory?

He used the wrong tool to draw.....
Try to make the map again but this time use the bezier tool.

Don't use calligraphic brush tool next time - just freehand tool or bezier line tool. (Make sure to close the lines - ie., construct polygons, not just curves/polylines.)

You could salvage some of this map by using the fill tool on "empty spaces", then removing the ribbons.
