I have my "my games" page set to "Games where it is my turn or have unread messages"

now this works fine until you are playing a game and then the person surrenders and doesnt put in a final message ( you know the standard "gg" or something)

at this point i dont actually know that the game is finished unless i change the my games page settings.

in some cases i dont actually end up looking at the final turn that made my opponant surrender untill days, sometimes weeks later.

it would be nice if that final turn showed up on the "my games" page even if you havent got a turn to make.

maybe the option should be "games where i have a turn to view or have unread messages"

again only a minor thing. not the end of the world :D

I agree, it'd be a nice feature. Also getting rid of the games that you decline from your list would be great.

you get an email message when a game is over

besides 'games where i have a turn to view' also include games where you surrendered and have either no fog, or have you replaced by an AI

But those are the games I like to follow the progress of! I played in a 3v3, but got eliminated at the start. And I want to keep track of the game, but my teammates rarely talk, so I have to click the game three times a day to make sure nothing has happened!

Would it be difficult to add "follow this game" and "ignore this game" buttons? Then the "My games" page would show the games you'd expect it to based on its setting + all games you're explicitly following (even if not covered by the setting) - all games you're explicitly ignoring (even if they would be covered by the setting). Just an idea.

These issues have come up before. I am in favor of clicking the options we want to track instead of picking groups of options from the list.

{}Games it is my turn
{}Games where I have unread chat
{}Games that I have not declined
etc.

I would also like an option added for

{}Games that recently finished

which would track games that ended some number of days before (three?).

Alternately, it would be really nice to be able to select which games to track manually. Default would be yes under current conditions, like being invited and such, but you could turn it off for any games you want.

It would potentially allow us to track games that we are not present for, like tournament games, important ladder matches, etc.

It is exactly "Games that are active or havne uread chat messages"

if you have <50 games, you can just set it to show 50 games per page and 'Active Games'.

szew... they are specifically asking for an option to see recently completed games since not everyone leaves a closing message and as such the completed game will disappear.

They specifically stated as much above...

sharpe, they are "specifically" asking for about 20 different things between them. Szew's solution provides some of them.

i think people are getting a little confused about what im talking about

all im saying is that i rearly use any other option other than "Games where it is my turn or have unread message"

with this setting on it tells me every time a turn progresses to the next turn except when the other player surrenders and i have won.

i regularly get a game pop up for a tournament and i think "oh i didnt even know i had won the last round" and then i look back at my list of games and i sometimes have won the game over a week ago.

i know i could look at my emails but to be honest i use warlight more than my emails so 90% of the emails i read i already know the information so i dont bother reading them anymore.

anyway like i said it isnt a minor thing and i think i can live with how its already set up. :)

I have had the exact same thought and mild level of annoyance as General Mac on this subject.
