i don't think it is the best idea for a clan but can we just stop this argument? this is why people have shyed away from the forums...

I personally don't see what's horrible about a bunch of people playing around for the sake of roleplay. If you ever roleplay as NSDAP Germany you will see tons of easy roleplaying options, and I always have a fun time doing so (not to say that I get in this situation often.) But I think we are getting mad at an incorrectly named clan. I realize it would have been different because of it isn't 'the next' great Germany, but the Wehrmacht or the Heer would have been a more appropriate name for the clan. I have only experience with a few T4R members, but from my experience they aren't NAZIs or related to glorifying NAZIs, just admirers of the Wehrmacht (like some of us were when we were little kids) or people wanting a clan tag. There's really no reason to grt mad about them unless they are praising the sneaky political machine that controlled Germany for 12 years , just pretend that the T4R is the Wehrmacht clan, which the Wehrmacht doesn't include the Concentration Camp System, Einsatzgruppen, or SS.

Germany is not the reason why WW1 and WW2 started. Hitler actually destroyed Germany, their economy, and society. He destroyed the soul of Germany with his ugly, hate filled society.

This is why after WW2, the American's, Russians, etc., made the local germans clean up some of the internment camps, so they could see what their "inaction" led too in human suffering!
What Hitler did wrong was that he committed suicide and took 6-9 million lives along with him.

I'm not saying that T4R is a bad clan, I'm just trying to say that all clans is based on the leaders true self.

As an ex: If I'm a bad leader and I troll, that makes my clan a troll clan.

Look at United Nations, people claims "Marksman" the current leader trolls. His clan split into 2 factions because people don't want to follow his ways or don't like the path he chose to go. I mean at the end, Marksman is trying to sell the clan :l

Edit: The UN is a shorter version for Nazi Germany, just because the path Marksman chosed.

For my comment above Germany isn't reason why WW2 started. @Haumptman, I agree we should have a Soviet Union(USSR) Clan.

I expected better conduct from a member of 101st - probably the top clan on the game.

Concurring with what gg said, can this all stop now? This wasn't supposed to inspire a historical debate. All I'm getting now is Fridge looking to stir stuff up now. Thank you to anyone who has helped try to clear things up regarding T4R's image, we appreciate it. To those who still want to stir stuff, I don't really see your point in still being here - directed at Fridge now.

Ah, you got me. But really, it was a serious question, I was wondering if you planned on continuing in your tasteless ways. I mean if you can role play Nazis you can role play other (white) supremacist groups, right?

Funny that you should be offended. You've managed to offend a noticeable number of WarLight players just for hoisting a couple Nazi images (minus the swastika, very clever). If you wanted to role play, you should have called the clan Wehrmacht and left out the Nazi trash instead of making a shrine out of it.

Just stay off the forums and there won't be a problem, out of sight out of mind.
