I have noticed in the past few weeks tons and toms of multi accounts playing on both sides of teh fence or in ffa.

there have always been a few about, but letely I run into them all the time.
Often they dont even try to mask it, they have identical names except for a peroid or a number. I really dont see what fun it is to do it, but it get old aftera while.

I have so many on my black list now I cant even keep track.

fizzer really has to address this issue at some point because it's making this site really suck.

I have an accound here for my son, but I'll galdly give up haveing 2 of us here , jsut so we can avoid peeps with the same IP address playing.

IF you could put up the IP address of the players so we can see when there are 2, OR if you could just put on a light or icon warning everyone that 2 players have the same address. I think it would be easy, many otehr sites don't allow this, I think that is why they all are comming here, because they can.

Hi all, I think Tim needs to make sure he knows what he is talking about, because he just accused me of having 2 accounts in a game I just thumped him in. Now normally I would just have blown this off as a sore loser. But he was very adament that I was some other dude in a game when it would be tarded and obviously no fun to play that way. Just look at my stats genious and you will see I get beat more than I win. You just are not very good at this game if I can so easily beat you (Ex: I was the only one that attacked you the whole game).

Tim, Dynamic IP, Public Locations, and Proxies make IP blocking irrelevant against this kind of problem..
It's like putting up a fence to stop a bullet.. it won't stop the bullet, but it will slow down those running from the gunner..

I purposely did not use names because i didn't want this to become what you made it.

You and your friend took every turn in a 24 hour game at the same time, sometimes it was 4 hours sometimes 8 sometime 14. But every time it was at the same time.

That being said, I don't mind losing. It just hate it when people like you ruin it for everyone else.

You say Ip addresses wont help, but it seems to stop the problem on the other sites, I don't know why it would not help here.

To answer your question Tim...

Blocking won't help because It's a simple tasking for a multi-accounter to use a proxy or make 2 static ip addresses on their computer. I've done it numerous times to get around school firewalls.

tim ... if they were on the same team, they dont gain any advantage.

Just an FYI Tim, turns are Queued until it becaomes your turn again brother. It goes in order, that is why you saw both turns being taken right before yours were. I didn't have a problem until you accused me of cheating by being the same guy. Just apologize to me and I can squash it. :) I'm all about having fun and playing fairly. Just dont like people saying I did something when I didn't, it sucks.

First of all, you guys are right, IP blocking wouldn't help at all. Secondly, you should report them if you think they're cheating. If you aren't sure how, then just send Fizzer an email with your thoughts and a link to the game. Which brings me to my final point:

Sounds like a great explanation Eagle. Tim, report our game so that Fizzer can reply to you that in fact you were in a game with 2 seperate people with different IP adresses. Then you can apologize to me and all will be good :)

If you click on the "nudge/boot" button you'll see that they didn't take their turns anywhere near each other. Also, I read the chat of that game. I'd be very interested to see how you checked their IPs in a game that doesn't publish them, and where there's no direct contact between your computers, everything is relayed through the servers, which would have no reason to pass the IPs on to the computers of the other players. That means that either you were bluffing (not very well), know a sh*t-ton more about computers than I do (definitely possible, but not probable), or you hacked the system (in which case you should be the one who gets banned.

I'd also like to point out that I've never personally seen a person with two accounts in an FFA game, but I've seen friends purposely join an FFA game so that they can team up against other people, which is perfectly legal, just a douche move.
