Don't be hatin' on X's profile pic and name.
Zap Rowsdower was one of the main characters in a low budget Canadian movie called The Final Sacrifice. The movie bordered on terrible and was thoroughly mocked on an episode of MST3K. This is one of my favorite episodes of all time (along with the Space Mutiny episode). With the popularization of the interwebs, the Zap Rowsdower character took on new life as it's own meme centered around movie dialogue, random thoughts, and the new title of The Canadian Chuck Norris. There. Now I've revealed what an mst3k I am, but don't be hatin' on another person that recognized greatness.

How do you interpret this as a thread of hate?

Without X this forum would be rather drab.

There you go Master L, I'm picking up your lingo, however appalling it may be. I just can't resist.

I think you'll find that Mystery Science Theater 3000 is a 90s show, and my current name is taken from is one of the very few 90s films to be featured on the show, only about 5 of 180, the least represented decade. This was because of rights issues, but there were more 90s films during the Sci-Fi era as Werewolf, Time Chasers, etc. were owned by Sci-Fi.

Also, it's '80s if you're putting an apostrophe in it.

Yeah, but it's also Canadian and we all know the '80s didn't come to Canada until like '93

HUGE Dave Alvin fan, but was giddy to see Billy Zoom had returned to man the axe-wielding position - unbeatable chemistry with him . . .
