Things I have left to do:

1. Touch up borders (to eliminate overlapping areas and gaps and to make it look a bit better in general).
2. Redraw/fix/touch up borders for Iran, Iraq, Caucuses/Black Sea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan: they aren't realistic.
3. Arrange bonus links for mega bonuses (to make it look better).
4.Maybe: make 2-3 territories become 1 in crowded center, then shrink the map to make all territories smaller.

Aside from the above planned changes, any suggestions?

Why are the meta-bonuses so small? Saudi Arabia is worth 11 alone, but holding it all is only worth 1 more? It seems to defeat the purpose of even having a meta-bonus. (I don't like meta-bonuses, so removing it works for me, it just seems odd to have them in this case).

I would agree about #4, it's too crowded in certain areas. It also doesn't mesh well to have really big territories and very small territories, sometimes next to each other.

Otherwise it looks like a really nice map. I will say that I didn't spend a lot of time looking at map balance, though I'm sure you are aware of those issues better than me anyway.

I don´t have time to fully analyze it, but it´s a very nice map. I love the idea of it!

Oh, but I would suggest adding a few territories on the Russia-Georgia Border, like Abkhazia and Ossetia.

As for things to fix, you've misspelt Morocco.

This is nitpicking, but why did you name those territories at the Bab al-Mandab and the Strait of Hormuz "chokepoints"? I mean they are chokepoints but it sounds a bit off to me. Are Western/Eastern Strait of Hormuz & Northern/Southern Gate of Grief really too long?
And there's still some space left at the western edge of the map, so why not move put Iceland a little closer to it's actual location? Right now it looks a bit like Greater Orkney... ;)

Thanks. Moroccococococo fixed. Iceland relocated after economic crisis. Northern/Southern Gate and Western/Eastern Strait as new names.

I've been trying to deal with a larger problem (Africa map + Europe map + Middle East SVG from Matma --> sizing problems in Europe) and a minor problem (cut up the largest territories and delete or stretch the smallest).

How about adding another strait at the Bosporus/Dardanelles connecting with Ukraine in the north and Greece in the South? Or linking Greece with the Turkish Aegean region?

I considered the link. It does make sense to add separate territories though, since I did that elsewhere on three occasions.

this is a good map but does great britain really need a connection to denmark? it seems very strange

why do you call him gui?

You've named more than one territory Desert. Name the one in India Thar Desert and name the one in Saudi Arabia as Rub al-Kahlih. Plus, can you please split Tibet and Xinjiang? They are totally different from each other and should be split, in my opinion.

there is something wrong with Yemen, when ever you click on the 2 bonus it doesn't show the Yemen areas

dak, i was working on yemen: deleted 2-3 territories and east/west yemen became yemen.

i shrank the map and am now adjusting everything. so some things are too small right now.

The Bonus Links seem very small to me. Wich size do they have in inkscape? I mean, on a bonus of 2 you can't see more than half the number. and the Meta bonus links too should be bigger. Nice map anyway :)

New name: 'Eurasia & Africa'

Planned Changes:

- Change some names in center ('Middle East' map maker has some random names)
- Redraw national borders in center (to be more realistic).
- Add territories (to fill space): Scotland. N/S Norway/Sweden. E/W Ukraine.
- Continue to fix borders: Russia. Sahara. India. Biggest/smallest territories.
- Name/make connections for unnamed territories.

Aside from these changes, any suggestions?

Two questions:

-Should I enlarge the map west, to include more of Greenland?
-Should I enlarge the map south, to include all of Africa?
