An interesting options to add would be to select your top preferred templates (should be a minimum of how many to select) and the system would try to pare you up with someone with similar preferred templates.
It was a cool idea until I was auto picked Canada, Caucasus, and East Russia on my first game. Starting in three five-income territories caused me to lose and my rank drop by about 1450 points.
Its hardcore! I barly am able to make a turn on mobile. Its unplayable on mobile :-( and i only use mobile to play warlight, that sucks for me coz this ladder is great!
would be nice if this was more userfriendly to play casually, a "click here to play only one game on realtime ladder" button on the open games list kind of thing, with a countdown to how long it'll take till the next round starts. more people would play for sure.
Some clarification: there's a TrueSkill rating where you start a 1500 and a real rating where you start at TrueSkill-3*standard deviation = 0. I'm pretty sure nobody lost 1400 points with 1 game, the two numbers just got mixed up.
Please remove the FFA game template. Ive been playing a "RT" game for close to 2 hours. I dunno about the MedEarth LD settings, but those might take very long too.
