Recently, I read the thread by Ra and Incaman about their common space project and I thought that would be a great topic for a community project. I know thats maybe a bit over ambitious for someone like me, who only made one map so far, to guide a project with several designers. Anyway, the idea has been to create a space map with different planets, which supposed to be designed by different designers. I allready started with the first one:

Unfortunately, there is only one, who can set the map public, but everyone who wants to join will of course be mentioned in the map discribtion and gets a little meteorite or a space shuttle or what ever with a banner and a lettering, where your name will be mentioned. something like that:

For example it would be great, if someone is willing to design a fancy Ice planet or a water, gas or ore planet. The only handicap is that it needs to look 3D. Everyone, who likes to participate is invited to work on the overall concept.
The final size of the map and the number of planets depends on your participation and the size limit by warlight. I hope you are interested, otherwise it will be a sad, single planet map in the end ^^
