The next map I'm going to make will include Vatican City, Monaco, San Marino, Liechtenstein, Malta and Andorra all on 1 map. These are the 6 smallest European countries and it would be hard to make a big enough map for 1 of them on their own. This is why I decided to make them all on 1 map, however, I don't have a lot of free time, this will take a while, I'm asking for help in the research phrase, if anyone could find me some maps of their sub-divisions I'd be grateful.

(P.S. No stealing this idea, I've had the idea 1st, the evidence is here, so we'll know if anyone has stolen the idea.)

liechtenstein is a difficult one. What are you going to do with all those Liechtensteinish exclaves?

Also, Vatican city has no adminastrive divisons

Vatican City is tiny, even compared with the other countries in this map, so there won't be many territories in it, however, individual locations could be used as territories, even if they aren't administrative divisions. I haven't looked too much into Liechtenstein yet, but I've got an idea on how I'm going to do Andorra.

Vatican City is so tiny that a fontain can be found on the map of the country.

Seems like Vatican would be best as its own map. You'd have to divide the parks, major buildings into their own territories.

What I mean is Vatican is different (being just a small city based country). It might be a fun play on its own. You could make it as a separate map, then add the territory polygons into your other map. You are already doing much of the work, might as well get two maps out of it.

@ Chris, Maybe, but that's for another time. I prefer to only be making 1 map at a time or I know I'll just end up with a lot of unfinished maps.

I'm very busy right now, so I will have very little time to spend doing this map over the next month. I'm unlikely to be able to spend over 10 minutes per day on it during April and early May. But after that I'll be able to spend a bit more time on it.

@ b3rz3rk3r, Thanks for finding all those maps. As for Malta, I might make the administrative divisions the territories, how merge some of them together and called the bonuses thing like "Northern Malta", etc.

Andorra hasn't got more subdivisions, but I was working on a map (I wasn't working for a long time, but I have already started it) where I'm trying to divide the "Parroquias" of Andorra because of their population and towns they have.

That's the Wikipedia page I'm using to find towns/villages in Andorra, then naming the territories after them.

Andorra is a butifull country, it's a mountainlike country. maybe it's an idea to draw mountains, passes, rivers, etc.
