Soccer ego. Nether sport is better than the other, and the only reason we call it soccer is to distinguish between the two, since "Handegg" is more popular in America, than soccer.

And why are we even debating this? Banana just said soccer, in parenthesis by the way, to let people know it was YOUR kind of football.

And we are saying it makes more sense to call the game devoted to the poetic meeting of ball and foot 'football', rather than the game devoted to throwing, catching and holding on to a hard, egg shaped inflated contraption.

It does make more sense, but there's nothing you or I can do about it. You have FIFA, Americans have the NFL. Let's leave it at that.

If Fizzer actually took away all of the points I wouldn't count it then - if he didn't then MG's record stands. I don't like the methods used either, but I feel that if Fizzer rules it as illegal, then down it goes.

Football was founded in England. It has the oldest league/team or association anyway. Not sure about unofficial play.
