domenico switzerland have a really good but inconsistant team they beat spain 1-0 in the world cup finals,beat germany 5-3 in a friendly, drew against the netherlands 0-0,beat montenegro 2-0,beat bulgaria 3-1 and beat luxembourg 1-0. all of these results are in the last 8 games (except beating spain)so they are on form

Germany

Spain - Italy: 1-1 Really bad game. Italy didn't play bad, but Spain did, and as usual Torres ruined some big changes.
Ireland - Croatia: 1-3. I didn't follow this match, but Croatia was the better team (they say)

I disagree. Spain vs. Italy was a fantastic game. The best of the tournament so far IMO. Mainly because Italy performed way better than I expected. That's why Spain couldn't go about and play like they wanted, which was good for the game. Few mistakes on both sides.
Both sides played on a really high level, both tactical and technical.

A cartoonist in a Dutch newspaper made a joke: Don't worry, we'll do like in 2010, and also do a ceremony if they become 11th..."

France - England: 1-1. Not the worst game, not the best, but a good game to watch.
IMO France won't come into the quarter final (don't get mad), but England and Schweden are better.
@Gnullbegg: IMO was Russia - Czech was the best game.

I disagree, I think France played better than England during that game.
Funny because tonight I made some money, I bet 1-1 for France-England and 2-1 for Ukraine... Hope it will end with this score.

england's performance was better than i could possibly have hoped. of course, we could still play well, get three draws, and go out.

it's all about scoring goals, and france could only manage it with an excellent piece of individual work. to only concede one goal against a top team is promising.

our goal was a result of poor defending on their part. im not confident in our attacking ability.

When will Rooney be able to play? That should make some difference.

he misses the sweden game, plays ukraine though. im not sure rooney makes a huge difference. he scores goals if he gets good delivery, but even then hes pretty inconsistent. maybe if hes partnered with welbeck, they can carry over their chemistry from club level.

We can still make it to the quarter finals. If Germany beats Denmark, and we beat Portugal with enough points, we can make it. But Portugal is better than Denmark :(
